We were in town for a family crabing weekend at the jetty and had a perfectly lovely weekend. It was comforting to know i had a bed to sleep in! The owner was very interested in making sure i was comfortable. i would stay there again!

Great location

This sweet little house is a great option in Rockaway! The house was well-stocked and had a good selection of games. It was an easy walk for older kids to shops & the beach. You would probably need a stroller/wagon with younger kids. There’s also a fantastic new playground just a few blocks away.

The house was nice and simple. All the right modern touches, from the DVD, TV setup to the the heating system. Kitchen had well stocked utensils to cooking pots and microwave. the trundle, day bed was uncomfortable, but having 3 separate bedrooms is a plus. Some ADA type handlebars in bathrooms would help those visitors that are needing a little more stability. Communication with the host was prompt and informative. The weekend we stayed was not dampened by the Oregon weather. It was just as fascinating as if it were sunny and 80 degrees. I've always liked the storms in Oregon on the coast. As a native Oregonian I've grown use to rain, wind and storminess. To conclude, I almost don't want to write to much more, for fear that it'll not get to rent the "Blue Mermaid" next time I need a weekend away. Thank you Rhonda you have a magnificent place.

I love sharing my beach house so guests can enjoy the peace, quiet and relaxation of the ocean. Rockaway Beach is a cute town with lots of mom and pop shops! Fun to shop, dine in or out, enjoy the deck and walk along the 7 mile long beach.

I know all of my neighbors. I’ve lived here over the 13 years I’ve owned this property. So it’s not just a rental, it is also my home. Please be respectful of the neighbors. Thank you!

What makes this property unique

Quaint, quiet, vintage, mermaid themed. I have a privacy garden planted out front which also attracts lots of birds and of course, deer. It’s locating walking distance to the beach (just under 1/2 mile).
