This was truly a special place! The rental was clean , view and wildflowers amazing and the private beach serene. I really don’t know how much more perfect it could have been.
Serene setting, wonderful bed. Would stay again. But finding it was impossible as The address didn’t appear on Google maps. We were lost until a call back from the owner, then we found it easily.

Thank you Linda and Ron for your stay and for your review. Again, we are sorry for any difficulties you faced trying to find the property. While we thought our instructions were clear, we appreciate you pointing out this problem. Since you checked out, we have made the instructions more clear and have a map available for anyone who'd like even more granular information.
Unbelievable setting on coast. Small cabin looks out over a small lake and Gulf of St. Lawrence beyond. The cabin is brand new and well equipped. There is a short path to private beach! Just amazing peace and quiet.
This is a beautiful and serene property. It is pretty remote so be prepared to travel a bit for food and other necessities. One thing that caught us off guard was a a waiver that needed to be signed before one accessed the nearby beach and hiking trail. I have stayed in many places over the years and this was a first . The host was responsive and available.

Thanks again for your stay with us and for leaving the property in great shape.
For the benefit of our readers, I note that while the location is very serene and peaceful, there are restaurants and groceries located about 7 minutes away by car in nearby Port Hood and roughly 10 minutes away in nearby Mabou.
In addition, I'm sorry if the waiver was a surprise. The waiver requirement is noted in our listing description and mentioned in our welcome email. The waiver is required because we are unable to be responsible for guest safety on the beach (as there is no lifeguard) and on the nature trail. The waiver is not required if guests don't use the nature trail and beach. I hope that makes sense.
Enough basic amenities needed, I only stayed for a night. Late check in, early check out. Really incredible sunsets, holy moly, down a gravel road though. Food is a drive away if you don’t have any with you

Many thanks for you stay Tylor and for leaving the property in excellent shape. I'm glad you were able to enjoy the great sunset and wish you had a chance to take a stroll down to the sensational beach. In case you visit again, there are 3 decent restaurants and a breakfast spot within a 5-10 minute drive in nearby Port Hood and Mabou where you'll also often find great local/celtic music . Thanks again for your stay.
