We stayed over New Year’s with about 16 people. What we liked about the cabin was the abundance of beds and couches, which made it easy for everyone to sleep comfortably. The mountain views were beautiful, and the location was nicely secluded. There were multiple decks that were great for relaxing and taking in the scenery, and our family will always remember this vacation. There were some downsides, though. Several doors didn’t lock properly, and some of the TVs were extremely outdated, with missing remotes. The heating and cooling were uneven throughout the house. We also noticed signs of animals getting inside, possibly squirrels or mice. The most concerning issue was that the foundation appeared to have settled, causing uneven floors and furniture, which felt structurally concerning. We would consider staying again, but these issues definitely need to be addressed, and future renters should be aware of them. Overall, the stay was okay, but for the price, you can likely find a property in better condition.
