About the host
Hosted by Kathy Maurer

Ken and Kathy are both recently retired. We enjoy spending time with family and friends. We have always enjoyed hosting family and friends and have the space to share. We enjoy meeting new people.
Why they chose this property
The neighborhood is quiet. We have wild life in the back, deer, turkeys, many different kinds of birds. We live in a rural area next to farm fields. It is a nice space to check out the night sky.
We are 2 miles from a Meijer's. It is pretty peaceful.
We have had the occasional odd visitor, a peacock, turkey vulture and guinea hens.
Most exciting we had 5 hot air balloons land in our yard.
We are less than a mile from Dixie Motor Speedway, Wilderness Park, Comet - a classic dinner, and plenty of restaurant options with in a few miles.

What makes this property unique
If you are looking for a place to view the evening solar events, we have a great view. It is quite and a great place to relax. Also near Frankenmuth and Birch Run which has lots of options for entertainment for all ages.
