We purchased this home in August of 2017 and have updated both bedrooms, the bathroom, the kitchen, and living room! It looks great and is ideal for 2 couples, a family of 4-6, or business travelers. Snowfest

The home was lovely and the owners were very accommodating. We were there for Snowfest 2024 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils, skillets, plates, kuerig and regular coffee maker. Hope to return again sometime.

Perfect girls weekend!

Everything was great! This was the perfect place to have breakfast on the back patio before spending the day shopping and exploring the town. The location was just close enough for a convenient drive to the heart of Frankenmuth, but far enough to be out of the chaos. It was wonderful returning in the evenings to relax. We would definitely come back!

Wonderful!!!

This was our second stay here and once again we absolutely loved it!!! The whole house was decorated so festively for Christmas. If you happen to forget something, Shelly has some extra items in the bathroom which is a nice touch. The washer and dryer were great and so was parking inside a garage. We are already talking about coming back next year .

Mother's Day Weekend

Your home away from home. You need nothing but your clothes and food. You do not need a lot of food as there are a lot of great restaurants. Make sure to bring walking shoes for shopping. What made it extra special was we were able to sit outside and see the Aurora borealis. Thank you for sharing your beautiful house with our family.

Frankenmuth Gem

The minute you walk in you feel comfortable and right at home. This is by far my favorite VRBO. Everything was exactly as described in the listing. The pictures dont do it justice. Shelly knew that we were there for my husband's birthday and mini getaway...when we arrived, there was a birthday balloon and cake. Not expected, but truly appreciated. If you need a home away from home...this is the place.

Thanksgiving in Frankenmuth

This house is awesome! We have three children who go to school in the north east, and we are from California. Instead of flying our children out west this year, we chose to fly to them and celebrate Thanksgiving in Frankenmuth. The house is awesome. It fit all our needs and we had a blast. It has a foosball table in the basement, which we don’t have in California, so it just seem need to be underground. The host had a Zehnder’s’s pastries, waiting for us as we had a late arrival. The host has all the amenities you might need. If you forget your toothbrush, or any regular amenities, they have them fully stocked in all the bathrooms. It’s an awesome house to stay at and we would fully recommend it.

Very nice house

The house was very nice & well stocked. It was decorated really cute. Was a little farther from Main St than we would have liked, but not too bad of a walk. We had some very warm days, so the a/c was very nice to come back to. Would stay again if we ever make it back to Frankenmuth.

We live in the home next to this rental. My husband and I take pride in making it look great and we want our guests 100% satisfied with their stay in own town and in Viola's Place! We will go the extra mile to make sure you are satisfied with everything.

Why they chose this property

Our neighbor of 20 years (Viola) moved out in July of 2017 and we purchased this home with the idea of making it a vacation rental in our town. There is always something going on in Frankenmuth and people who want something different than a hotel, who want a place of their own, within walking distance of places in town, with great comfort and at a great price need look no further!

What makes this property unique

The main floor is all new. New flooring, new appliances, new stocked kitchen, beautiful furnishings, and in a great quiet location. New patio off the back of the house with a propane fire pit and patio chairs mid-June 2018. You can see Main St. from this home and it is in walking distance of all the major events in town. Viola's Place is perfect for a family of 4-6 or those in town for a wedding weekend! Mid-week business traveler? We are perfect for you as well!
