Perfect Fall Beach Trip!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We've stayed at Destin West Gulf-side before, but this was our first time in this particular unit. The location was perfect- just a quick walk to the pool or beach. Everything worked well in the unit and it was clean. The communication from Destin West Vacations was great and the instructions for check-in and out were very clear. The beach wagon, toys, and boogie boards were a great addition! Would definitely recommend this property and this unit in particular! One thing that might be a nice to have- a resort map. We've been there twice before, but getting over to the lazy river and marina area can be a little tricky the first time!

Great poolside location

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location is great with pool access from the balcony and a close walk to the beach and grilling area. There were only a few minor issues. The ice maker did not work in the refrigerator, the washer had a high pitch squealing noise when operated, the master bedroom toilet had issues with continuously running water, and the sliding doors were difficult to open. Overall, these were very minor and didn’t even warrant a complaint to staff and will not prevent us from returning again. We had a great stay and can’t wait to come back!

Dishwasher doesnt clean dishes (WE HAD TO HAND WASH ALL WEEK) coffee maker was clogged up, toaster wouldn’t pop up the bread, microwave light didn’t work, ice maker was broken. - NO ICE THE ENTIRE WEEK, sliding glass doors were extremely hard to open, bathroom sink doesn’t drain, unit came with one dish towel and only 6 bath towels (HAD TO WASH EVERYDAY)For the amount of money we paid for this unit everything should have worked properly and nothing seemed to work AND UNIT SHOWED ALOT OF WEAR AND TEAR.We’ve been coming to Destin West for 15 years and we will never come back. No one monitors or enforces rules (smoking, loud inappropriate music etc). Two mornings we couldn’t even enjoy the patio for the smell of vomit!!!!JUST TERRIBLE
