Great family weekend

Reservation process was easy and straightforward. Property was everything we hoped it would be. Private and with a pool. Grands and Pops and Mimi spent alot of time in that. Pet friendly! Property manager was extremely accommodating and very responsive. House was beautiful and very clean. Everything it was advertised to be. We have already booked it for 2026 spring break.

Great trip - great house

The common spaces in the house were wide open and great for the family to share. We enjoyed the pool and the neighborhood beach access. It was about 7-8 min walk to the beach but very low traffic threat so it was perfectly fine! Floors were a little dirty and we had to contact someone to get the WiFi password but everything worked out and we had a nice time!

Great Family Escape

The location of this property was absolutely stunning. The neighborhood is quite, friendly, and very laid back. We were a very short walk to the beautiful sandy beach. The house could use a deep clean, but we were two families, each with kids, so perfect cleanliness wasn't a priority for us. The rooms were amazing. Kitchen is very well stocked. The decks were relaxing and beautiful. The pool was a tad cold, but it didn't stop the kids from swimming all day/night. Our group (two families) fit great in this house, and we'd be back again!!

Overall the property was nice however the living room furniture desperately needs to be replaced. The dining chairs also need to be replaced as some are cracked and coming apart. The house is in a great location about an 6 minute walk to the beach and the gated wrap around porch was wonderful. The pool is beautiful however it was too cold for us to swim but still nice to look at.

The property has such great potential with a little work and elbow grease. We had to make a bed and sweep and mop upon arrival, as the bed was left unmade and the floor had dirt and food throughout the house. (Cleaning supplies and mop were purchased by us as there were nothing to use.) One mini split in a bedroom was broke all week, while another one started leaking midweek. WiFi went out on day three and never was back on. The pool was a great hit and we used it daily. Also just a short trip to a great beach. I will say the property manager attempted to fix on mini split a/c unit, and always answered my messages. I loved the Gulf Shores area, the beach, restaurants and the lovely pool. The house needs some major attention to cleanliness.

Enjoyed stay but house needs some tlc

We really enjoyed our stay here. Short walk to beach, swimming pool was nice, and drive into gulf shores wasn't bad. The downfalls are the house needs a deep cleaning inside and out. Alot of the furniture needs replaced due to being worn out. (Patio chairs, bar stools, mattress, and couch)

The location is perfect. Very private and the wrap around porch is great! Plenty of amenities in the kitchen but the pans are out dated. We had to get our own paper towels, and toilet paper. Washer and dryer work great. Toilets flushed great and we had hot water for every shower even with 6 people. Love that we could bring our fur baby. The pool has a gate but beware, there are sticker burs on the grounds that our dog stepped on several times. This is no fault of the property management, just mother nature. The house needs a deep clean for sure. Under the furniture, the baseboards, walls. But for us, it was just fine. Nothing that was a deal breaker with the exception of dirty pillow cases. Made us question if the blankets were washed. Overall, the house is great, just needs some TLC. Management responds quickly. Pool guy took 2 days to come clean the pool. The neighborhood is great, far away from things but we like it that way. The master bedroom AC worked the entire time for us. They do have fans in each closet. Our didnt work but we brought our own. WIFI worked the entire time and so did the TV although we didnt watch it a lot. We would stay here again for sure.

Worst Ever

Orange Beach is a beautiful place with lots to offer but our accommodations were atrocious. Checked in on Saturday with no WiFi or tv (and cell service was limited to outside only without WIFI). After calling the local contact we were directed to call the IP ourselves. When it still didn't work, we were told a tech would be scheduled for Tuesday (the day before we checked out). We later discovered the internet went out Thursday night and it seems no effort was made to repair it. We constantly had to ask for updates, not once did the agent initiate a conversation. The place was dirty and in disrepair: Mold/mildew on AC vents, couches full of food debris, silverware that was supposed to be clean was filthy. Some ceiling fans didn't work, some light fixtures were missing pieces and the auxiliary AC in master bedroom leaked onto the bed when turned on so the room became excessively warm. The property management company, Evolve, was absolutely no help, totally useless. Each email was replied to with an apology and vague assurances they were looking into it and would be in touch. After contacting VRBO, I was connected with one of their agents for a wasted 45 minute call. My recommendation, if you see Evolve listed as the management company, find another property.

Great place very very dirty.

The property was as advertised. Nice beach house, not far from the beach. Our problem is with the cleanliness and the company that does the cleaning. Dust EVERYWHERE!!!!! If you have allergies this is not the place for you. The intake vent was cover in dust. Filter looks like it had not been changed in a long time. A vent in the bathroom has mold on in. We had a tv that didn't work. And lots and lots of bugs and mosquitoes. Went swimming, it was like being in the rainforest with all the bugs. The worst part is when we contacted Brandy, the person in charge of the cleaning company, she told me she would have someone out the next day. No one ever came. Then my grandfather called a few days later and she said she would get the issues fixed, even worse she lied and said she never spoke to anyone else and I have text messages to prove we had communicated. The floor was very dirty and has sand all over it, before we even walked to the beach. We have a toddler who crawled on the floor and her knees, elbows, and hands were BLACK in ten minutes of being here. Some of the mattresses were so worn that we would roll to the center. Lots of broken furniture. We loved the location but we will never stay at the property again.

Peaceful, but falling apart (may 2017)

The GOOD: nice neighborhood, short walk to the beach, nicely decorated house. We had a group of 10 (4 families) and there was plenty of room for everyone! The private pool was nice for the days we couldn't make it to the beach. There is a sign in the backyard that warns of an alligator (there is one back there we saw it). Nice wrap around deck. Lots of room to park 4+ cars. Everything you could need for a kitchen is there. The air condioner works great, always stayed cold inside. THe BAD- everything you touch appeared to fall apart. The bar stools and dinning room chairs were very wobbly, we tightened them all up so we could use them. When we arrived the bathroom toilet was overflowing with water. We quickly turned the water off and called the contact person and they had a maintenance person there within an hour to fix it. The maintenance person said he fixed it but the handle didn't work and he said he would be back next week to fix it he came in Saturday to fix it and when we left on Friday he still hadn't shown up(that was not going to work for us) so we went to Walmart and got the part to fix it. Toilet paper roll holders and towel holders falling off the wall that we fixed. Deck chairs on the back porch arms appeared to be loose. It would be better if checkout was at 11 instead of 10. Could use a good power washing as it was dirty on the outside porches. There was a golf cart for us to use to go to the beach but it was not working. There is NO WIFI. The stairs and white railings were very squeaky and looked like they were going to fall apart soon. Overall this could be a great property if it was maintained better. It is pretty far away from the hustle bustle of gulf shores.

Satellite TV didn't work,3 kids very unhappy and miserable. It's pretty dirty overall. Especially the floors like walking barefoot leaves your feet black with dirt. Moldy shower curtains and dead bugs in the window sills.There's an ant infestation in the hallway closet next to bathroom. Not that it can be helped but the standing water from the pool underconstrution has the outside area smelling awful. The two room unit ACs don't work and the house using is underperforming. Which could be because the vent grate I covered in dust. Allergies beware. It's overall been pretty unpleasant but we didnt have any options. Honestly we considering leaving early and forfeiting the final night. But being displaced from Hurricane Ida we didn't have options.

Better than expected

The furnishings have been upgraded since the pictures posted were taken. The neighborhood is quiet. There is a lot of flood water around the house but we were able to access everything we needed to without issue. We would definitely stay here again

Over all the house was nice and spacious but outside needs help!

Over all the house was nice and spacious inside but the outside needs yard maintenance bad! The weeds were high around the Parking area and walk ways. Where the pool was is nothing but a cess pool that the lagoon has taken over. If I was going to rent this house out myself I’d definitely put some attention to the outside the area behind the house is a huge eye sore and just looks like it’s been let go. Maybe the hurricane season of 2020 hurt it bad but still you make it presentable to renters. There was also a bed that had crumbs of cookies in the sheets when we arrived. Hopefully the owners put some thought into the cess pool before their re rent this place

Private Paradise

We were nervous to come on vacation with the COVID virus. We had booked the year before. This place was so secluded and it’s own piece of paradise. We had access to a private beach, the pool and a well stocked house to include an awesome charcoal grill! The inside as well as the outside was perfect for kids and entertaining adults! Very clean and wonderful decorations! The beds are so comfortable!

Overall the property was excellent. With the exception of a couple of minor items I couldn’t have asked for a better stay. The communication with Brandy (the property manager) was prompt and helpful, both by text and email. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone.

Quarantine Retreat

Amazing home

An awesome house, very clean and spacious. It was everything we wanted and needed in a vacation home. Very relaxing. The pool was utilized thoroughly. Location to the beach was one of the best things for us. Cant wait for our next girls trip!

Excellent Large Private Space

This house was amazing! The large, spacious den and kitchen opened up to a back porch overlooking the pool. Everyone was in sight and able to interact. The beach was just a few blocks away and was very private with plenty of room to spread our group out! We loved the privacy of the home and the multiple amenities to keep us occupied!
