About this property

As seen on HGTV's My Lottery Dream Home! Gulf front home 3BR/3BA.

This home, completed in 2006, is situated directly on the ocean along Alabama's coast. It offers vacationers the best there is to enjoy a quiet, relaxed time on the beach. The home was the featured home on HGTV's My Lottery Dream Home Season 1, Episode 9. The home has been specifically designed to cater to all those little things you would have wanted in order to provide for a hassle free time on the beach--including deck chairs, beach towels, and all the basic kitchen amenities.

The home consists of 3 bedrooms ( 1 king, 1 queen, 2 twins). There is also a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. There are 2 baths inside (1 with shower, 1 with tub/shower combo). An outdoor bath and shower is located on the lower deck. It is fully private and has both hot and cold water.

There is a TV located in each bedroom and also in the living room. Wifi is also provided. A DVD player is located in the living room, and a sampling of movies is provided.

The home features open plan living, with the kitchen, living, and dining all composing one large room with a commanding view of the ocean. Dolphins can often been seen right from this room.

Off of this main living area, you will find a large deck overlooking the ocean which is perfect for lounging and watching the waves. Rocking chairs and lounge chairs are provided, along with a picnic table. A portion of the deck is covered, so it can be enjoyed even in the heat of the day. A staircase off of the deck leads you right down to the beach--with no walkways or boardwalks to cross. It is truly beachfront.


Mainstay Cottage is rented on a weekly basis most of the year with turn over days on Saturday only. It is rented on a monthly basis December through February. Check in is 3 pm and check out is 9 am.

Mainstay Beach House is the perfect house! It is steps from the water with beautiful views from the balcony. This house has everything one could need for a relaxing vacation, beach chairs, umbrellas, floats, beach toys for children, etc. The house was immaculate and the kitchen has everything one could need. The owner was quick to respond and checked on us during our week. Mainstay is a slice of heaven in Ft. Morgan.

This is THE perfect beach house for a family. Steps to the beach. Very clean and all the chairs, umbrellas, and beach play items you need. This may sound weird but this house is extremely well built. You don’t hear outside noise and even though the heat index was over 100 the entire time, we never had to adjust the AC from 73. I am super picky about rentals and this one gets an A
