We stayed here to be as close a possible to. the Minnesota Renaissance Festival for an affordable price. The stairs are steep, but the railing is sturdy. We really appreciated the water and snacks. The bed was very soft. New Prague is a great town. It's large enough for some great eateries, but has still retained it's small-town vibe.

The motel room was small but also very clean and cute. From the pictures online I thought we had a suite only to find out it is shared with the other motel room next door. Never shared a room before so I felt uncomfortable. Carrying luggage up steep stairs was also trying to do. All in all I would stay here again, especially since it's right downtown. The place really does have character

Thank you for your review! I’m glad you enjoyed the cleanliness of The Poppy Seed Inn. To clarify for future guests, the Rose Suite is a private guest room with own bathroom, only the common lounge and refreshment area are shared with the neighboring room. You arrived two hours before the scheduled check-in time and requested immediate access. We accommodated your early arrival at no additional charge with no problems. We appreciate your feedback about the stairs and are happy to answer questions about the layout before booking. Thank you for staying with us!

Very cute place to stay, it suited our needs very well. It was quiet and cozy. Very close to restaurants. The bake shop downstairs made the entire place smell like cookies...just delicious! Will definitely stay here again should the need arise.

The Rose Suite at The Poppyseed Inn is lovely as is the shared space between the two suites! It was perfect for my husband and me on our one-night stay on our way to The Cities. The space is cozy, warm, and welcoming and had everything we needed and more. There is an amazing bakery across the street and delicious dining within walking distance. Aga, our host, was easy to communicate with and responded quickly to questions. Highly recommend, and we will for sure stay there again! Thank you so much!
