Beautiful country setting, but just minutes from downtown. Extremely clean and the electric car charger is handy. The host is friendly and gives you space to relax.

This is a true nature retreat, peaceful and quiet. During our stay we saw dear, raccoons, squirrels, hawks, mice, turkey buzzards, chipmunks, lots of birds and many hummingbirds fighting over the feeder provided by the host. Thank you. A very charming place to stay!

Nice over all! There unfortunately was a smell. I don’t know if it was the septic, or old chicken coop smell, but they had already opened the windows before we got there to try and help. It did linger but we lit a candle and it was better.

Peaceful hideaway

Well-kept, clean, peaceful home. Enjoyed the lovely birdsong each morning and watching hummingbirds and other little birds flitting around. The quiet atmosphere gave my husband and I time to relax and reconnect. Would definitely consider staying here again.

Chicken Coop

Lissa and Jay are delightful hosts! I had the most relaxing and lovely stay. I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect weekend. The house is very comfortable and the kitchen is thoughtfully stocked with everything one could need for cooking meals. I loved having my coffee on the patio and enjoying the gorgeous views of the property. I can’t wait to return to this gem of a listing!

We were in Sequim for a dog show so that meant our days were busy. Coming back to the Chicken Coop was a lovely, quiet, calm respite at the end of the day. The communication with the hosts was great. They have things set up so it's easy to find everything we needed and simple to keep things picked up and put away. The wifi was great. Check-out was a breeze. It was just a 10-15 minute drive to the park or restaurants but didn't even feel that long. We would definitely stay here again!
