We loved this cute little cabin! It was decorated so beautifully and had such a cozy, charming feel. We loved being able to see the lake and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The location was great, too—only about 15 minutes from downtown Guntersville. The hosts were super nice people and always answered questions very quickly. It was also well stocked. It was a lovely place to stay and a great little getaway! I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy cabin with a lake view.

A great little getaway

The location was excellent, the hosts were responsive and gracious, and we were close to both the water and all of the attractions in Scottsboro and Guntersville. My wife and I were looking for a quiet place to relax for the weekend, and this was perfect!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in March 2026. The view over Lake Guntersville and sunrise is spectacular!! The outside decks provide an excellent area to take in the views and are well equipped for comfort, cooking and eating. It is well equipped on the interior too. As well, the host was incredibly responsive with communication and eager to help. I highly recommend!!

By far the best experience we’ve had with any VRBO! The home was well equipped with everything you’ll need to enjoy your time away. The host was fantastic! They communicated clearly from booking to check-out. We felt supported the whole time. The property looked exactly like the pictures online, and we were so impressed with the cleanliness! We had an excellent stay and would highly recommend it.

The cabin was very clean and neat and had everything we needed for our stay. My wife came with me on my fishing trip. She doesn't fish so she stayed in the cabin and enjoyed reading, relaxing, and taking in the fabulous view. It was truly one of the easiest places we have ever stayed with good boat parking and electricity to charge the batteries. We loved Dana and Chris and will be back soon.

Tanglewood Cabin

Just an excellent experience altogether. Dana was a great host and made sure everything was perfect. The only negative, was that the wifi seemed to be out frequently. We loved our stay and would definitely be booking here again. communicating
