About this property

This historic duplex home was built in the early 1900s, when Cape Charles was founded. It has just been newly renovated for the 2018 rental season. This 4 bedroom home is a 1/2 block from Mason Ave. and 3 short blocks to the beaches. From the ground up with all NEW utilities including central air conditioning along with new plumbing and electrical throughout. 3 1/2 newly renovated baths with granite floors and countertops, a lovely new kitchen and plenty of room to spread out for a group of 6. This three-story home has a kitchen, dining room, and parlor room on the first floor and two beds and two master baths on the second floor and two additional bedrooms and another full bathroom on the third floor.

Great town and beach location!

we enjoyed the spacious 4-br side of the home, the nice back yard for playing catch, and the quick bike ride to town and beach with young kids! Jack was very helpful and communicative.

Great location in Beautiful Cape Charles Beach

Had a wonderful time in this town. Location was excellent. Rented a golf cart which is a must although easy walk to the beach and other shops etc on Mason Ave. Beach area and town very family friendly. Down side to this house is the steep stairs but we managed . Another downside was upon arrival house had not been fully cleaned even after checking time but owner was very apologetic. Overall it was a wonderful week!

I fell in love with Cape Charles when I first visited this historic town in 2008. This home is my second vacation rental property in this community. I also own and rent The Sand Hills Retreat just a few miles south of town. This beach house is centrally located in downtown Cape Charles just 80 yds from the center of town, its train yard, and the town marina. The beach is but 3 short blocks away. We have Kelly's Irish Pub, The Shanty, Cape Charles Coffee House. I am very proud of how we renovated this Victorian Lady. It's a historic house within a historic town, with great citizens who have lived on the Eastern Shore of VA for generations.
