Of all of the rentals we have ever stayed in, this was the best outfitted. Not only were there games, puzzles, and books, but the kitchen had all of the gadgets you could want. There were plenty of plush towels and pillows. We will rent again!

Perfect house for our needs!

It was a great place to stay for the weekend. Very close to downtown Cape Charles, but also a great place to relax and chill out while we escaped the heat! Love the recliner sofa!

Wonderful place!

Clean, welcoming home with huge backyard for kids to play in! Firepit was a big hit. Very easy access to Cape Charles (it's literally right down the road) and right off 13. Great place for a great time... we loved it! all 10 us!

Fantastic Fourth of July

Our stay in Cape Charles was fantastic. It was a busy Fourth of July but our location was perfect. It’s just 2.4 miles from the beach but just far enough that we weren’t in the middle of the busy holiday festivities. It’s a quick drive to anywhere you need to go for food and fun. Our host Angela was also amazing. She greeted us when we arrived and made sure we were all set.

Great for a family visit to Cape Charles

We had a great stay! The property manager/owner were super nice. We visited with our one year old and the owner even helped us track down some diaper cream when we were in a bind. House was equipped with some toys for her to play with too. Plenty of space for a visiting family and the house has lots of charm! It's a quick drive into Cape Charles where tehre is plenty of parking even on a holiday weekend.

Wonderful property!

10 of my family members stayed her while in town for a memorial service. The owner was very responsive. The home was cute and clean and plenty of space for our large group. The home was equipped with anything you could possibly need. We would definitely love to stay again if we ever come back to Cape Charles. Highly recommend!

Perfect Girls' Weekend

Everything about our stay was wonderful. The house was so inviting and layout was great. We had six girls and had more than enough sleeping space and space to hang out and visit and relax. It is located close to the brewery and only 2.5 miles to the beach and all the shopping and restaurants, which is a very easy and quick drive. The owner lives on the property (in a separate building) and met us there to give us info on the house, the area and to offer up items we might need (i.e., beach chairs), which was a wonderful extra touch. Would highly recommend and definitely plan to make a trip back!!

Great time at Magnolia Way!

We had a wonderful 9 days in Cape Charles! The house has a very spacious and thoughful floorplan while giving us space together and apart. Although our group had 3 families, it felt like our home away from home and it had everything we needed for 5 adults and 5 children ages 2 - 16. Our hosts were very responsive and helpful when we needed them and in making suggestions for the area. Being a native of The Shore, I loved the house's location as it was close enough to the beach and far enough away to have privacy to spend time with our families! Definitely looking forward to next year's visit! Thank you so much!

We had a nice stay overall. The house was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. It had everything we needed for cooking meals and even some beach chairs to use! The hosts live on property and are very friendly and responsive, however they were frequently out doing yard work, etc. For that reason it would be great if the outdoor shower had a curtain! If you don't mind seeing the hosts around the property regularly, it's a great place to stay! Side note: if you’re renting a golf cart to get around town you cannot drive it to the property. We parked at the rental place and drove it from there but definitely something to consider.

So sorry about the outdoor shower, we just put that in two weeks ago and it's a work in progress. You are so right about the upkeep! With such a large property and so much outdoor "decor," we are constantly working to try and keep everything beautiful for our guests. Thank you for staying with us at Magnolia Way!

Angela was great. The house was bigger than we needed but in our price range. I would recommend some additional curtains and the bathtub in the master bath was seriously clogged but to be expected. We made do with what we had and it was a great quiet place for us to relax.

Joel Anne, We are so sorry about the bathroom tub and had no idea that it was clogged. The group that left two days prior made no mention of an issue. We did leave phone numbers and live on the grounds, had we know we would have taken care of that immediately. Thank you for your feedback hopefully your stay in Cape Charles was enjoyable.
