Beautifully furnished cottage with luxury king suite and scenic views is located close to downtown Charlottesville. Peaceful and private but just a short drive to many vineyards and other local attractions.

The home is located on Route 20, just south of Charlottesville, at the base of Carter's Mountain. The cottage is convenient to I64 and only 7.8 miles from Downtown Charlottesville. Also close by is Monticello, The Blue Ridge Parkway, Carter's Mountain Orchard and numerous parks and vineyards. Head further south on Rt 20 and you will find the little town of Scottsville and the James River where boating and fishing excursions are available.

Spent four nights at Clear Sky Cottage. This is by far the best Vrbo stay we've ever experienced. It's just minutes from several wineries and very convenient to everything you'd want to do in Charlottesville. Super clean and the owner equipped it with the latest appliances. The attention to detail is unmatched.

We had a great stay. The property was exactly as pictured--clean, well organized and comfortable. Cindy, our host, was very accommodating and provided quick and useful communication. Everything we needed was conveniently located in the cabin and there were very clear and helpful signs throughout. The kitchen appliances were high quality and while we didn't cook, we appreciated that everything we would need was there. We will definitely look to rent from Cindy again!

5-Star all the way around. Everything was first class. The property, location, cleanliness. They even provided disposable travel cups with lids. This is not your typical IKEA make over…dinnerware and bedding are from Pottery Barn. We’ve stayed in the expensive beach houses before but overall this is the nicest place we have ever stayed.

Beautifully decorated and super clean. They’ve thought of all the little touches. Location is perfect, around 7 miles outside of town but in the peaceful countryside. We sat on the porch watching wildlife in the back. There are vineyards and breweries in all directions. We visited Monticello and even mountain top orchards. Owners were great. We will be returning.

The best short term rental we have ever had. Cindy has been a great host. Great surroundings. She had thoughtfully stocked and provided everything we would need and more. Utensils, pans, knives, glasses all good quality. I would write more good things, but I am in the middle of things at the moment and have to keep it short. Thanks Cindy!
