A little disappointed as maybe my expectations were high based off the price and phenomenal pictures. The place was nice but just mediocre, a lot smaller than pictures, NO A/C and house was hot! No street parking other than driveway and garage. We had 2 trucks and neither fit all the way in the garage so we had to leave the garage door open when we slept and the garage door to the house had no lock. No blanket for the pullout couch bed. If the price was a little more reasonable, these things could easily be forgiven as we did enjoy our stay and the place was clean!

Communication with the host was apparently through a representative who could not answer questions and wasted our time while they got answers.Access to the house through a digital combination door lock was a complete disaster. It took over 40 minutes in repeated communication with the host into get the property.Host would not allow access to the property until the appointed time and wanted to charge more money for any earlier access, even 30 minutes to an hour. Kitchen area has horribly poor lighting. Heating was required during our stay, but there were no instructions on how to use the digital thermostat so it was cold in the mornings. No instructions on how to use the televisions.

It was an unexpected malfunction, but our local team worked quickly to get it resolved, and we're happy to say the lock has since been repaired. We do our best to accommodate early check-in whenever the home is ready. Depending on our housekeeping schedule there may be a fee. We also appreciate the suggestion about adding instructions for the thermostat and TVs. That's something we're working on to make future stays even smoother. The new pics are generous...the cabin itself once you are inside is really nice. The grounds though are atrocious and are frankly dangerous. All stairs on the floor level are broken uneven, sunken in, incredibly steep and honestly a death trap. There are handrails on one side to a point, that does not help when they end at the top where there is a huge bowl divet in the stone or uneven final contact point on a stair. This goes for the bottom of the steps as well. Stairs gardrail and themselves completely to the higher patio swayed with the slightest bit of pressure and are of need of repair. Cleanness is alright, there were several glassware items we found in the cupboard that were obviously used and put back without cleaning. They do not provide hardly anything oil, salt, sugar, foil, napkins, kitchen towels, coffee, bottled water, any drink, ice, fans and use of the garage remote. The little provided was dire. You have to make the trek to walmart to have the most basic needs met. Pots an pans were good quality, but no info on any of the amenities on how to use them. We went in July and they had the heat on and set at 70 when outside was 90 and entering was miserable. After we turned off the unwelcoming heat we could not get comfortable. Each room had a fan (3 rooms) but no fans for common areas. And honestly no matter what we did the house was hot. The fans provided were the cheapest of box fan. Interior was pretty, but dangerous to get to. Outside run to ground

It was clean until…

We stayed here for our daughters competition, and everything seemed to be clean and fine until we went to bed and my little one had dog hair all over from the bed. Our dog doesnt shed nor do we let him get on furniture so we know it wasnt our dog. But the sheets could have been cleaned. Luckily I brought blankets and thats how I was able to get her to sleep was on our blankets. The floors were very noisy in the kitchen, but over all it was an ok stay.

Needs updating.kitchen well stocked.pet area waist high in weeds. Asked it to be mowed but know one showed up. Area rugs need cleaning. Driveway very difficult to get into. Truck had scratch on step because of driveway. Pictures on web very deceiving. Upstairs bathroom…shower horrible. Bathroom showers need updating for seniors. Bed frames in both upstairs …bed frames not properly set up. Upstairs lr ceiling needs repair. Gutters full of debris. Patio area sinking by cabin. interior dark.

We had a little trouble with the entry code when first arriving but the host answered right away and we got in quickly w a new code. We had a wonderful experience overall and would definitely recommend!
