Property located at 35 cedar point way crown point NY.

Cedar point way is a private road with mostly seasonal residents. The property features 3 bedrooms two full size rooms and a bunk room, 2 bathrooms one upstairs and one downstairs. The property has direct waterfront on lake Champlain. The docks are in so bring your boat. parking can be somewhat limited for large trailers but you can also boat over from the boat launch at crown point bridge located less than 8 minutes away At the top of the hill sits a couple large decks for entertaining. The house overlooks the lake offering some amazing views and sunrises.
In the later times of the year the area is not great for swimming as weeds will start to grow in but this does bring in plenty of fish for fishing. Their is a dock for a boat if you bring one. With private frontage on the lake

The cabin is beautiful. Such a wonderful view. My family and I had an amazing time. We truly hope to be able to come back next year. My only suggestion would be to provide a fan for the bunk room.

Pros: What a beautiful view! It was truly lovely! Even my dog enjoyed looking out the back door and watching the boats, birds and the lake. It was much appreciated that the house was pet friendly. That is always a big plus for us! The space was actually very well thought out and was a good use of space. Cons: The beds were on the small side (full size?) and not overly comfortable for 2 people. Being allergic to bees, having a bee's nest in the siding behind the light by the door could have been problematic. Possibly spraying throughout the season could help with that.Overall Impression: We would stay there again.

The home was well stocked! warm and clean home, Very easy check in. Beautiful sunrise Green Mountains East. Beautiful sunset over the Adirondack West! Great local adventures. a very quiet location. We will return next Summer. Host communication could not have been better.

The home had several astounding views of the lake, even from the living room couch! The home was comfy, clean, and cozy. The heating and air worked, there were plenty of blankets and pillows, TV and Wifi, and kitchen fully stocked with necessary utensils. Only issue was the water would not stay consistently hot through a shower. It was perfect for a family get-away to the lake. If you bring a pet, do not let off leash; there were lots of little critters nearby [including a fox].

The house is a cute little lakeside cabin with a wonderful view. The house was not super clean upon arrival- I spent 30 mins vacuuming and cleaning things, including streaks in the toilet, vacuuming the couch, and dirt footprints throughout the house. The property is fully under construction creating a treacherous walk to get down to the water with no railings or anything, which we were not expecting. The second level of land where we thought there was grass and another deck from previous photos was completely gone (post has since been updated to include construction during May so not available information at the time of booking). The house was decently stocked with most things and provided the essentials (dish soap, TP, paper towel, etc), however, the cupboards were full with other food items so there was no place to put the items we brought. We also discovered wet clothes in the washer and other clothes in the dryer. We enjoyed the view and the fire pits were both lovely and there was wood provided as an added bonus, but all in all it felt like we arrived to a house moments after someone vacated it. Looks like a lot of great updates are in the works with the house, but was a bit frustrating to not fully know the status of the house before arriving. We had a fun weekend as a family, but would not rush back to this house.

Hi Erin. I'm sorry things at the property changed before your arrival, as I informed you before you checked in. We had to have a new foundation installed which was not a small project. We also had a well pump failure the day of your check in that we were luckily able to get fixed same day so it would not disrupt your stay or our obligation. That being said as you know, your assement of us just leaving is accurate and may account for some cleanliness. We did vacuum and mop our way out. The cleaner was their the day before. Regardless something I would have gladly handled if we heard from you directly.. To clarify, The property is no longer under construction and the main house has remained untouched as pictured. Landcape has changed to include additional parking and larger front deck off the house. Water access same path as always. Next year we will be adding the finished basement to the listing. Thank you.
