Discover this cozy studio in Pacific Beach. Great place for clam digging, just a short walk to the beach. This cozy space features 1 queen bed, WiFi, kitchenette, and TV. With a shower and hair dryer in the bathroom, guests will feel right at home. You're sure to make fantastic memories with a stay at our place. Full access to the courtyard, hot tubs and conversation area covered under gazebos, so can be used year around, by adults or in the company of one.
Full rules available at the complex or by request. A fish/clam cleaning station in the courtyard, also for your found treasures. This is a non smoking property. Dogs are welcome under 40 lbs. This building is non-smoking.

The room was perfect. The courtyard with the grill and hot tubs was great. The hosts were some of the nicest people we have ever encountered. This has been added to our favorites list. We will be returning again for sure.

Mary and Michael..were excellent hosts , had great tips for the area..great listners and big smiles...we stayed in # 1 ...cute retro studio..super cozy and for me 6ft 3 the bed was perfecto..2 minutes and your on the beach....very very reasonable priced..hot tub perfect ending to a perfect stay

Peaceful & friendly

A small historic building in a quiet, peaceful beach town. Mary, the owner, is quite friendly, helpful and laid-back, a joy to chat with about the area's history and natural world. A one-block walk to Pacific Beach State Park's short trail to a wonderful beach. Perfect place to relax.

Mary was a great host, she was on the property when I arrived and helped me into my room. The room was cozy and perfect for me and my pup, had a nice kitchenette and was right next to the courtyard. The location can’t be beat! Could get to the beach in less than a minute, and within walking distance to the corner store, restaurant, and some little shops. Definitely hoping to be back soon!

Overall it was clean, in good condition, and good location. Not enough TP was in the room. There were no spare rolls, just a partially used one on the holder when we arrived. Bring extra!

We enjoyed the quiet town of Pacific Beach. The studio is small but great for just two for a couple of nights. Kitchen has everything you need. Booked this place because I needed to do laundry which is in the building. Enjoyed visiting with Mary who was super helpful.

Other travelers describe rooms as “cozy” but “cramped” is a better description. Perhaps this works fine for a couple or a single person, but not if your traveling partner has mobility and/or handicap needs. And it’s not just how small the room is but also the bathroom. The shower stall is so tiny that a large individual would have trouble turning around in it. The best thing this property has going for it is proximity to the beach.

The Joe Creek Condo building has been here since 1947. Guest come back year after years adding memories with their children and grandchildren. Its the perfect place is you are coming out to dig clams, or just walk the beach.
