One of the TOP places I have ever rented

My husband and I travel extensively and frequently rent short term properties. This is truly one of the BEST we have ever rented. Brenda had thought of everything. The cottage is adorable. The bed was comfortable. The views are spectacular. We stayed for 10 nights and were sad to leave this little slice of Heaven.

5 Stars – Peaceful Retreat with Unforgettable Views

Our stay at Brenda's one-bedroom cottage was absolutely perfect. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the stunning and truly underrated views of the Bitterroot Mountains. Surrounded by wildlife and serene quiet, it was exactly the peaceful getaway we were hoping for.The cottage itself was beautifully maintained and stocked with everything we needed—and then some. Thoughtful touches like mini toothpaste, deodorant, new toothbrushes, full-sized shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and a basket of snacks made us feel instantly at home. The appliances were updated, including a great gas stovetop and an outdoor grill, which we made full use of.Though the property owners live nearby, they were never intrusive. In fact, they were friendly and engaging—my husband really enjoyed chatting with them about the land and the produce they grow. It added a nice personal touch to the stay. While the road to the property isn't paved, the dirt road was well maintained and easy to drive. It took just 15 minutes to get to the ranch where I was taking a course, and the drive was simple and scenic. There’s also a washer and dryer on site, which was a huge plus after a weekend of shooting and outdoor activities. We brought our bows and had plenty of space to practice shooting our targets right on the property.Brenda’s communication was top-notch. She sent access info in a timely manner, checked in to make sure everything was going wel

My husband and I recently moved to Montana because of this beautiful property. It has been an active honeyberry farm and VRBO for 4 years. The sellers have recently moved out of state to be closer to their grandchildren and we purchased the home to continue their vision! We are originally from Idaho and love nature. My husband is a contractor / landscaper and I am in IT. We have a small dog named Jenna who is older and very quiet. We love music and have four talented adult children that are musicians and entrepreneurs. Let us know how we can ensure you have an amazing and quiet stay.

Why they chose this property

We are looking to retire in the next 3-5 years and were looking for a beautiful home that could also supplement our retirement income as well as keep us active. We choose the Bitterroot Valley area because of its scenic beauty, laid back lifestyle, low-density living, and friendly nature. It's why we all live here. Things move a little slower in the Bitterroot, and we like it that way. We love the friendly folks in Montana.

What makes this property unique

The property is over 11 acres with several areas to go for walks, bike rides or just enjoy the sunset. The property sits atop a hill and is surrounded by the Sapphire Mountains and the Bitterroot Mountains. Stunning in the spring, summer, fall and winter. The view surrounding the property changes with the seasons but the weather is not too extreme where we are snowed in. The night skies are amazing. We find the property most unique in the possibilities of building a barn down the hill, possibly creating a putting green in the back and just creating new wonderful places to be active and enjoy the land.
