Stunningly Situated comfortable luxury

Away from it all but close enough to shops for re-stocking the fridge! We like alternate Villa Days and Exploring Days and this Villa was perfect for doing just that...the pool is lovely, beds are comfortable, spacious rooms, huge Smart TV!... Quiet location. Villa experience

Had a really great week, fantastic spacious , private villa which offered a great relaxing break with 3 young children. Pool guard around the heated pool was an extra safety measure and communication and check in and out process was seamless. Thanks and hope to be back in the Summer, Tony.

Comments about the villa

the microwave needed mending/replacing, there were no outside tools for the bbq, the pool gate would not shut properly {would have been worried if i had children}. However it was a lovely large villa, very clean and lovely pool.

Waren zum 2. mal in der Villa, für uns war alles perfekt, kleines Restaurant fussläufig zu erreichen. Für Leute die Ruhe und Erholung suchen ist es ideal. Der Pool ist groß und für uns mit dazu gebuchter Poolheizung super.

La casa bien pero estábamos muy aislados.

La casa por dentro perfecta, pero había varios avisperos fuera, muchas cucarachas (normal en las islas) que salían por la noche y caían a la piscina que limpiaron un día en la semana de estancia. No hay cobertura de teléfono, el wifi funciona bien pero no se podía llamar por teléfono convencional.

Very dissappointed to receive such a low star rating from you. To respond in order. The pool is thouroghly cleaned twice a week. The property is sprayed every year to prevent cockroaches. The phone coverage is dependent on which supplier the customer uses. Most people use what's app which uses the WiFi for free calls. Wasp nest are usually tiny harbouring one or two wasp. They are common to all properties. We remove them when they appear. Why did you not contact the agents who would have come round to help sort out where possible any problems. To leave a 2 star review for items mainly out of our control is very poor.

Schöne geräumige moderne Villa

Wir haben die Ruhe in dieser Gegend von Fuerteventura sehr genossen. Die Villa ist modern eingerichtet und hat alles was es braucht. Der Pool hat eine gute Größe und mit dazu gebuchter Poolheizung angenehm warm. Die Lage mit toller Aussicht auf Berge und Meer haben uns gut gefallen. Kleines Restaurant im direkt angrenzenden Dorf am Meer ist auch sehr zu empfehlen.

Great vacation

Great location with a big living room and a large pool. We choose the location because we had a child with 3 years and the pool is completely behind a gate (no risk to fall in the pool) Kitchen is well equipped, also a washing machine is available. We strongly advise to rent a car and not come with a taxi, cause next shopping location is some kilometers away.

Good and Bad

Villa was spacious and clean though some aspects of maintenance required, ie broken tiles inside and out , whirlpool bath not working and unable to access of road parking as no key . Looked like it had not been opened in a long time. TV could be a bit intermittent but this was not a huge problem for us . Overall we enjoyed our stay but you definitely need a car .

Due to covid restrictions as owners we was not able to see the issues mentioned, However after a brief stay we have seen first hand the issues raised. The Tiles have now been lifted and replaced both inside and outside. A key has been cut for future guests to use the driveway. The wifi suppliers have been contacted and hopefully in the near future we will obtain an improved supply, at present we have purchased the best there is. The whirlpool bath circuit board is faulty and is difficult to replace, our agents are searching for a new board, in the meantime the whirlpool bath has been removed from the website. Thank you for letting us know of the problems.

Beautiful house

Due to Covid we have been changed our arrival dates from 2020 to 2021 but thanks to Peter that’s no big deal! He offers us generously to shift the arrival dates to a time of our choice with no extra costs. The house was spacious,well equipped and comfortable. There was a good sized pool area to swim and relax. Mentioned should be the cleanliness of the whole property. Thanks to Tony and Sharon the property agents. They have done a great job! Villa salina

La villa en si es perfecta, lo malo es el hombre que tienen para recibir a las personas, solo habla inglés o Alemán, somos españoles y tuvimos que usar el traductor para comunicarnos. El último día, entro aún estando nosotros aquí limpiando y se puso a decir que la parrilla estaba sucia que eran 20 ( de la fianza ) y luego entro al baño ( que aún se estaba usando ) y dice sucio. Luego siguió entrando a las habitaciones estando mi hijo de 2 años durmiendo, y nosotros en ningún momento nos hemos quejado de la tele ( no tiene canales apenas españoles ) y la piscina solo vino un día a limpiarla ( si es que se puede decir así ). Pero en general la villa está muy bien.

Toller Urlaub mit Familie und Freunden! (4 Erwachsene, 2 Kinder)

Ich verfasse diese Bewertung einfach auf Deutsch um es mir leichter zu machen :D, auch wenn wohl überwiegend Gäste aus dem vereinigten Königreich dieses Objekt buchen. Das ist aber überhaupt nicht schlimm, denn wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt und der Kontakt mit Peter, Tony und Sharon war absolut nett, freundlich und kompetent. Aufgrund der andauernden Pandemie hatten wir große Probleme mit der Fluggesellschaft. Mehrmals wurden unserer Flugdaten und Zeiten geändert...aber kein Problem. Ein kurzer Kontakt mit Peter und wir konnten ohne Probleme unsere An- und Abreisezeit anpassen. Vielen Dank nochmals dafür. Kurz vor Anreise war kurzfristig auch ein telefonischer Kontakt mit Peter erforderlich. Hierbei konnte uns Peter schnell weiterhelfen. Kurz nach der Landung hatten wir Tony dann kontaktiert, er war bereits vor unserer Ankunft im Haus und hat auf uns gewartet. (Leider musste er etwas länger warten, da wir noch eine kurze Verzögerung an der Mietwagenstation hatten). Er gab uns eine Einweisung und zeigte uns das Haus und dann ging es schon mit Erholung los :D Es war alles sauber, aufgeräumt und alles vorhanden was man für einen Aufenthalt benötigt. Tony kam ca. alle 3 Tage um den Pool zu reinigen. Wenn wir Fragen oder Anliegen gehabt hätten wäre Tony und Sharon für uns erreichbar gewesen, was aber nicht erforderlich war. Die Lage des Hauses ist in einem kleinen süßen Dörfchen an einem kleinen Strand, der auch zu Baden einlädt. Salinas del Carmen kann man wundervoll bei einen kleinen Spaziergang erkunden. Das nahe gelegene Salzmuseum inkl. Restaurant ist absolut zu empfehlen (man kann auch zutrauliche Streifenhörnchen füttern...super für Kinder). Ein Ort weiter (2 Minuten mit dem Auto) gibt es genügend Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (Einkaufszentrum), Restaurants, einen Sandstrand und Bars. Noch ein Ort weiter (Castillo Caleta de Fuste, ca. 5 Minuten mit dem Auto) gibt es noch mehr Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Restaurants, einen größeren Sandstrand und Bars. Aufgrund der Pandemie waren einige Geschäfte und Bars geschlossen. Aber das nötigste und auch einige Shoppingmöglichkeiten gab es auf jeden Fall. Selbstverständlich haben wir auch mit den Autos die Insel auf eigene Faust erkundet und viele versteckte Ecken gefunden. Der bekannte Oasis Park ist auch nicht weit und absolut ein Besuch wert. Abends haben wir dann nochmals den Pool, die Sterne und das Rauschen des Meeres genossen. Vielen Dank für die tollen und erholsamen Tage!

Superb villa in nice quiet location by sea

A very well-equipped modern, spacious villa in a perfect location for our needs - fairly central location for getting around the island by car, quiet and peaceful but close enough to Caleta (5 minute drive) and also a good restaurant within walking distance (5 mins). As keen birdwatchers, it was also a great spot for us, with the Salinas del Carmen saltpans and Barranco del Torre both within 5-10 mins walking distance, sea-watching from the terrace, and shrikes nesting in the garden! You can tell by the quality of furnishings, appliances etc that the villa is used by its owner and not just a holiday let, and it really felt like a home from home. Lots of space inside and out, especially for just the two of us, and a decent sized swimming pool for those hot sunny afternoons! Communication with the owner and the property managers (Tony and Sharon) before and during our stay was excellent, with clear directions on how to get there and arrange access on arrival, and contact details in case of problems whilst we were there (none encountered - all was fine). The place was clean and tidy, despite the previous week's sandstorm apparently covering the place with sand - no sign of this thanks to Tony and Sharon's heroic clean-up effort before we arrived! Overall, we would definitely recommend this place and would stay there again ourselves if we visit the island again.

Relaxing holiday

This was our second visit to this villa and we enjoyed it just as much as the first time. Very quiet location which is what we are looking for but only 5 minutes away from all the amenities by car. This time the internet was very patchy which meant that often the television didn’t work but it wasn’t a huge deal. We paid to have the pool heated and it was lovely and warm. We will definitely visit again and would recommend to anyone who wants to relax in peace

Perfect villa

An amazing villa in a perfect location. Very quiet area and a perfect view. The villa was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. Great to have enough mugs, glasses and plates to not have to keep washing up. All the furniture was very comfortable. If you can get up the two front steps, the rest of the villa is accessible, all on one level and a walk in shower. Good sized pool. Very helpful communication with Peter before and after booking, who answered all our questions honestly. Tony and Sharon, the local managers, were very helpful and friendly and did a good job. And did we mention the view?! Who doesn't want to sit and look at the sea all day - and from the lounge there was an uninterrupted view. A truly lovely villa. We don't do going back - but I'm sure we'll be back here.

Excellent house!

The house is amazing, you have the best of both worlds being in a quiet location with fantastic view but just a 5 minute taxi ride to the local shops, bars, restaurants and the port!! The house is spotlessly clean and the welcome pack was great. Tony and Sharon were fantastic, nothing was too much trouble, they have a great knowledge of the area so can point you in the right direction for trips and days out. Myself and the children (aged 11 and 2 14 year olds) loved it, we will definitely be looking to book again for next year!

Great holiday Villa and location.

Very nice villa, Good location, would certainly stay there again, however there are some things that do need improving: 1. poor quality towels and bed linen, definitely need replacing. 2. Basic cleaning materials such as washing up liquid, bin bags, dish cloths should be available. 3. Villa needs a 'useful information booklet' with key contact numbers and what to do if, we had to call out the property services guy a couple of times when the electric power supply failed and also when the pool heater tripped out. 4. Outdoor furniture (sunbeds, chairs, tables) for a villa of this standard all need replacing, all sunbeds in very poor condition and some, particularly those on the balcony area were very dirty, in fact we did not use them because of this, the sunbed cushions/mattresses were very old and in poor condition and also note that although we didn't need more than 2 mattresses there were only 3 available for a villa that advertises for 6 people. 5. Pool cleaning we appreciate should be carried out regularly, however ideally we would have preferred it to be carried out either early in the morning or early evening so as not to have been disturbed during the day.

Thank you for your comments, looking at them in order. We will contact our agents and ask them to only use quality linen, we have so much stored. Bin bags and washing up liquid and dish clothes will be supplied. A booklet is also a good idea, we will produce one for guests to see. I will ask our agents to ensure furniture is clean both upstairs and downstairs for future guests to use, also the cushions will be replaced. The pool cleaning is carried out twice a week and extra if required, we try not to have that affect the guests, its difficult with timing as many people sleep in late and do not want to be disturbed early morning, others with children use the pool after using the beach late afternoon.
