Check in was straightforward and easy. We had good communication with the host leading up to our stay. The home definitely needs some work (guest shower constantly drips, kitchen faucet is not installed securely, stove range controls aren't consistently working (and they are very uneven), fridge water and ice machine does not work. The property served our needs (a place to crash, BEAUTIFUL view and GREAT lake access); however, we would have been more disappointed in the house's quality and offerings had the weather forced us to stay inside the entire time.

Bugs in kitchen. Shower head leaked due to not being able to be shut off. Coffee pot never cleaned. Grounds left in basket was moldy. Outside deck and entry covered with pine needles and cones. Unpaved road to house had MAJOR ruts. Car bottomed out twice. No pods for dishwasher. No paper towels. Ice maker now functioning.

Booked 2 nights only stayed 1 because of roaches. Arrived on property and found the outside porch area covered in debris and furniture dirty the whole area is pretty unusable without cleaning first. Upon entering you could hear water running. Checked and the rear shower would not turn off at all. Constantly ran the whole time. Bathroom was warm and humid the whole night.Dropped our stuff went to dinner came back and found 2 alive German roaches in one of the bunk rooms on the bed. Also a few more dead ones around the room. Not having anywhere else to go on short notice. We stayed that night avoiding the bunk rooms. During the course of the night we saw a few more live roaches in the kitchen and laundry area out in the open. Not that more needed to be added to this but the whole place just kinda felt old and dirty. Despite it looking clean. Small things were weird. Random old food in the fridge. No top sheet in the master bedroom. No remote for the living room tv. Kitchen stove was wiped down but not cleaned out. The roaches made us leave. But a lot was left to be desired regardless.
