Beautiful garden right outside the door with areas to sit. Rooms were spotless with comfortable mattresses and everything we could ever need. You can tell Helen puts a lot of thought into what her guests may need. We enjoyed our stay!

Stunning garden yard

Such a tremendous yard that we just soaked in relaxation with the plethora of flowers and birds. The three bedrooms were just what we needed and the generosity of the host to make homemade muffins and assorted drinks! We had a wonderful stay!

The yard was beautiful and relaxing. We should have paid more attention to the details of not having a kitchen. That is one of the main reasons we rent VRBOs when traveling. With no kitchen and the beds in the three bedrooms taking up all the space there was no space to have our two family members over to visit or play cards, etc. it was too cool to be outside. So we ended up only using the property just to sleep at night.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. Yes I understand that some guests prepare full kitchen and separate living room for entertaining visitors. Helen’s Garden House is designed primarily for short term stays, offering a comfortable, convenient place to rest and relax, especially for travelers arriving at or departing from the airport, with easy access to the light rail. Having traveled around the world myself, I understand what travels appreciate when staying away from home. I was thoughtfully provided a dedicated library room with books, small table and chairs, and a full-out bed, along with a convenient meal-preparation area equipment with microwave, mini fridge, electric kettle, coffee maker with freshly ground coffee, plates, utensils, glasses and wine glasses, and other essentials. Guests can also enjoy complimentary coffee, tea, hot chocolate, apple cider, bottled water, assorted ramen noodles, popcorn, crackers, assorted instant oatmeals, milk and assorted fruits.. While we do not offer a full kitchen or a separate living room for entertaining guests, we do offer something special: a peaceful outdoor garden with comfortable seating, beautiful flowers, waterfalls and the lovely sounds of visiting birds. Our goal is to provide a clean, comfortable and welcoming place where travelers can unwind and feel at home during a short stay. We appreciate your feedback and hope future guests will find our unique garden setting and thoughtful amenities enjoyable. Warm regards, Helen Helen’s Garden House
