Private on end of street. Nice open view of a body of water out back. Owner did a nice job of making this ‘retro’ hime nice & inviting. Having two bathrooms was great. The pool table was a bonus & enjoyed that. The only problem was that the washing machine was not spinning the water out of the clothes, so that was quite a job to wring them by hand. Owner messaged that he would take care of that in the future. So I would recommend this ‘retro’ home to anyone needing to stay in the Sulpher area.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication
Disliked: Listing accuracy
The property was easy enough to find, but the neighborhood was not great. The doorpads to get in were a bit tricky to figure out at first, but then once we figured out how they worked it was fine. The house was very clean. The front bathroom was very nice and a good size. The back bathroom was quite small and the tub was very tall, hard to get in and out of. The layout was a bit strange and the description online was not completely accurate. The description states that it sleeps 8 and that there is a Queen and a Double bed in one bedroom and a queen and double sofa bed in the other bedroom plus a double sofa bed in the common area. One bedroom had a queen bed and a twin XL size daybed. It was not big enough for me and my 4 yr old to both sleep comfortably on it together. The other bedroom had a queen bed and then a very small retro sofa that the back laid down but it was definitely not big enough for two people. The sofa beds in the common area were also small retro sofas that the back laid down but definitely not big enough for two adults to sleep on. They were very hard and uncomfortable. The mattresses on the queen beds way too soft and obviously older and well used. Both were very uncomfortable. The beds did not feel sturdy at all. The back room had no ceiling fans and was very stuffy. Pool table was nice and the adults enjoyed that part. Overall I would not stay here again unless the bed situation was corrected.
