Great stay

We had a great stay at The Roost. Robin and Ted were communicative and welcoming but never intrusive. The location is great and the house has character.

We enjoyed our stay at The Roost so much! It was walking distance from town and our friend’s cottage. Comfortable bedding and sleeping spaces and kitchen was great for cooking. Would definitely visit again!

Charming in-town farmhouse, walking distance to downtown Stonington. Adored the farmer’s porch for coffee in the morning, wine in the afternoon, and quiet evening wind downs. Easy walk to stores, coffee shop, restaurants, galleries and ice cream. Just a terrific location at a very reasonable price. Although we didn’t need to do much cooking it is worth mentioning that the kitchen was well appointed and easy to work in with much appreciated spices and sundry available. The house retains old style charm but with nicely updated windows, kitchen and bath. It was a great landing place to explore Deer Isle. Robin and Ted are gracious, responsive and helpful hosts. Thanks for a lovely stay!
