We had a wonderful stay in this historic home! The hosts were responsive and the Fayetteville area was beautiful with nice restaurants and great hikes and adventures
Perfect home base for our visit to New River Gorge National Park. Both bathrooms are located downstairs - which isn't a huge deal - just worth noting since two of the three bedrooms are upstairs. We loved the character and charm of this farmhouse and would stay here again!
This was a perfect location for our family and dog for the Rim to River 100. The location was easy to access, felt comfortable and had everything we need.
Good location for exploring the area and National Park. Beds were comfy and plenty of parking. Unfortunately, we had fresh mouse droppings in the kitchen each morning which was disappointing.
I believe we were the first to stay at this spot. The accommodations were like the listing and we enjoyed our stay. We let the host know about some things that came up and they were responsive.
This is such a great house and they’ve done Ana mazing job with renovating it. We loved the character and history. The beds were comfortable and it was nice having A/C in all of the rooms. It’s a great location and the twin was very cute. We enjoyed coffee on the front porch in the morning and dinner on the deck. We would definitely stay here again!
A great place to stay when visiting Fayetteville. Had everything we needed for our homebase and was relaxing to hang out in the evening. Highly recommend. Clean, quiet, close to everything, plenty of parking, charming, price is great! I'll be back again.
Loved this unique property. Did a last min spring break getaway, kids loved it. Hung out a lot outside & enjoyed the peace of the area. Good location- close to good hikes, food, and brewery. Hosts gave great recommendations, easy to communicate with. Will be back!
My 2 sisters and I stayed for 2 nights. This is an old house with narrow stairs and doors. It's fairly rustic but has all the modern conveniences. We loved the fact that it's an old house with these touches! The location was great for what we had planned. We toured Thurmond and did the Bridge Walk. Close to everything.
My parents and I enjoyed our stay here. Great location. House is close to the road but it wasn’t very busy. The neighbors were all very quiet. Beds were so comfortable! I got great sleep! Though we didn’t wind up using it, the firepit area on the side of the house was super cute. Check in was a breeze. WiFi worked great. Enjoyed Roku TV at night after long days of hiking. It was cold during our visit, but there are heaters in every room that all worked well.

This quirky little farmhouse was a great retreat for our family of 5. It's location is so convenient to the "coolest small town" of Fayetteville and to all of the outdoor adventures and national park sites/hikes of the NRG. The beds were comfy and having two full, well-appointed bathrooms was useful for our crew. We also enjoyed the firepit, surrounded by fireflies and visited by a large friendly toad. We appreciated the area maps and information provided by the host, too.
House was very clean and great location. We were 3 traveling seniors. So two bedrooms upstairs and both bathrooms downstairs was inconvenient. Most people traveling to that area for hiking, rafting, rock climbing would not have any problem with that set up. That’s on us for not paying more attention to the listing.
