The location was perfect for our family visit to NRG. We were within 15min or less of the majority of our planned excursions. The house was well kept. The location is quiet and safe.

My wife and I stayed for 2 nights to visit New River Gorge National Park. The location was great, being a short drive to the Canyon Rim visitor center and multiple trailheads, and also very close to local restaurants. For the house itself, it seemed recently updated with new flooring and was spacious & very clean. The hot tub was a nice feature to relax after hiking, and the water was crystal clear & clean. We also enjoyed the rocking chairs on the front porch in the evenings.

I have to say, this was one of the most well-stocked, and cleanest VRBOs we’ve been in. It is an older home, but I don’t think there was one speck of dirt to be seen anywhere! And there was soap, extra tp, bikes, hammocks, more than enough towels, plenty of everything for anything you might need in a pinch! The hosts were very responsive, helpful, and it was so nice to have the hot tub to relax in after a full day of hiking and exploring. If we were to return to new river gorge, we would stay again!
