The Sweet Spot, surrounded by trails and wetlands and within walking distance of the Whitehorse airport. The cabin is built in tiny home style with two loft beds. We can comfortably accommodate a maximum of 4 quiet and easy going guests, though it is best suited for one or two.
Please note that both loft sleeping areas are accessed by very steep ladders. Guests who are uncomfortable climbing can be accommodated on a large, comfortable couch in the main area.
A small wood stove keeps the space cozy on cold winter nights. In order to make sure our guests can continue to enjoy this feature, we reserve the right to be the keepers of the fire. We aim to have the stove lit when you arrive and do our best to respond to fire lighting requests. The space is comfortable and warm without the wood stove as well.
Wifi is available but has its limits and guests should note that we do not provide a TV. The good news is, it's beautiful outside in all seasons and there is lots to do. There is a skating rink and basketball court in the greenbelt behind the b&b, as well as a great playground, bike jumps, pond, bigger pond (little lake) and out of this world tobogganing. We are a five minute drive to over 85km of world class, groomed XC ski trails and 15 minutes to the chairlift at Mt. Sima. The trans Canada trail runs very close by. Miles Canyon and its trails are 2km down the way. We have loaded the cabin with games, puzzles, books and art supplies. You will not be bored! And if you are lucky, the Aurora Borealis will put on a show for you.
Outside areas are shared with the hosts. We give our guests lots of privacy and we will be happy to see you around the firepit if the season is right, and the burn zone is green. We are happy to share tips to help you make the most of your stay in Whitehorse and we will almost certainly show up with a treat or two. We may even have time to show you our favorite spots. Please just ask!
We may have thought of everything, but you tell us. Come and stay! We are keen to welcome you, Yukon-style. We aim for you to remember your time at the Sweet Spot fondly.

This was definitely a hidden gem. The whole experience was truly peaceful. We had a warm wood stove in minus 40oC. Was so warm and comfortable. The hosts were amazing.
