Welcome to our charming modern retreat! Upon arriving you will hear the melodious creek flowing on the edge of the property. When stepping inside you'll be greeted by an abundance of natural light streaming in through floor to ceiling windows, seamlessly blurring the lines between indoor coziness and the vast outdoors.

The interior boast a rustic yet elegant design with exposed wooden beams, stone accents, and cozy furnishings. The fully equipped kitchen is perfect for preparing home cooked meals, and the living room is the ideal place to relax and unwind with a book or a glass or wine. Whether you're seeking solace from the daily hustle or planning a family getaway, this is the ideal sanctuary for you.

For families there is a bedroom with queen/twin bunk beds where little ones can retreat to their own space. Plenty of room for kids to play and explore, including a fun tree swing, allowing everyone to unwind and enjoy the fresh air. Outside you'll find a spacious deck with furniture and a large yard with a fire pit. Out Back you'll find another seating area with a picnic table and a Blackstone grill. Additionally the primary bedroom offers yet one more private patio with rocking chairs looking over the creek and mountain views. Whether you're lounging indoors or soaking up the sun outside, this modern mountain escape promises a tranquil haven where you can truly unwind and recharge.

For outdoor enthusiasts, Old Fort is known for it's access to adventure. Whether it's hiking, biking, fishing or horseback riding you'll find this farmhouse is central to all that the area has to offer.

Here are some important points to note:

Check-in is available any time after 4 pm, and check-out is before 10 am.

Our property is strictly pet-free and smoke-free, and we kindly ask that you adhere to these policies.

We accommodate a maximum of 6 guests on premises.

Please be aware of potential hazards such as falling branches, nuts, hailstorms, and wildlife that occasionally occur. By agreeing to our house rules, you acknowledge your responsibility for your car and personal property's safety.

Security is paramount, and we have outdoor surveillance for your safety and ours. By agreeing to our rules, you consent to being recorded via video and audio.

When it comes to heating and cooling, we want you to be comfortable and appreciate your consideration for the environment and the household equipment.

In the event of a power outage, please notify us immediately. While we'll do our best to keep you informed about restoration times, please understand that no refunds will be provided for power outages.

Heat and Air Conditioning
The thermostat is located in the living room on the wall behind the television. This home has a heat pump and the thermostat controls both the heating and cooling.

The thermostat should already be set to a comfortable temperature, but if you do decide to adjust the temperature, please do NOT turn the a/c lower than 70 degrees or heat above 75 degrees. Doing so will overwork the system. We do have an allowable range of 67 to 77 degrees.

The location of the fire extinguisher and first aid kit, is underneath the kitchen sink.

Please remember that this neighborhood has full time residents, children and neighbors that live here year-round. We respectfully request that you drive slowly at all times, and that you act with respect, dignity, and understanding for these residents, as guests in their neighborhood.
Parties, loud noise, and unruly behavior are absolutely prohibited, and guests are expected to respect the neighbors and their development. Complaints will be dealt with swiftly and may result in expulsion from the home.

Quiet hours are between 10pm and 8am.

Linens

Please be aware that toothpaste that contains Benzoyl Peroxide, Retinol, Alpha Hydroxy acids, or Hydrogen Peroxide.can cause color changes on regular bath towels. We will request compensation for damage to our towels, hand towels, and washcloths because of makeup removal.

Damage to the sheets or bedding

We understand things happen. If you spill wine, have a nosebleed, or drop chocolate on our duvets and sheets, please let us know. Our housekeeper will do everything in her power to salvage our linens. It is better for us to be informed so we can use special spot treatment before laundering. We will request compensation if stains can not be removed

Housekeeping will arrive at 10 AM to prepare the property for the next guests.


If you have broken anything, please let us know. Mugs, plates, glasses, dents in the appliances, torn sofa, the TV…. anything. Accidents happen!! As long as it is not malicious, it will not affect your review! We request you let us know so it can be replaced before the next guests arrive.

The Entire house, including all inventory, is thoroughly inspected after each reservation.
