Really nicely decorated, kitchen was well stocked, loved the hot tub (although the second night it took so long to get warm we gave up), lovely yard with creek sounds but could also hear some highway noise.
Our family had a wonderful stay here. There was plenty of room for the 6 of us and our 2 German shephards with their 2 big beds. Lots of dishes, silverware, and cups. Enough pots, pans, and bakeware to make simple meals. All the little extras you need. Very clean and host was very responsive if there were any questions. Love the fenced yard for dogs I highly recommend this place.

Beautiful Home
We filled this house up very comfortably to the max of 9 people. Although it’s in a neighborhood, it feels very private and is on a serene creek. Just minutes to downtown Black Mtn makes this the ideal spot. Very accommodating and kind host. We very much enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

Beautiful home for mountain exploration
This home is spacious, immaculately clean, and beautifully decorated. The kitchen is well equipped and all of the beds were very comfortable. I only wish we had had more time to stay. There are so many great hikes in the area. And the drive along the Blue Ridge Parkway to Mount Mitchell was stunning. I will definitely recommend this home to our friends.
Our group was an unrelated group of friends and the accommodations met our needs perfectly. The home was clean and had everything we needed to be comfortable. It was a very cold and icy time of year and the homeowner made sure that we had everything we needed for a safe stay. He was very responsive and understanding of our needs. We will definitely book this home again!
My family had a great time staying at Black Mountain Hideaway. It was only my wife, son, dog and I but there was plenty of room in the house for large or extended family/friends to stay. The beds were very comfortable and the house was nicely stocked. My dog loved roaming around outside the house and running in the fenced in back yard. If I had to say anything negative it would be that the driveway to the house is very steep and I could see it being an issue if the weather gets bad. Other than that, the house was great. Beautiful location and a great place to stay!
The house was awesome. Very well stocked kitchen, and basic supplies. It was clean and nicely decorated. Conveniently located to downtown Black Mountain. The owners took extra time to make a book with some of the local restaurants they appreciated, this was welcome.
The thing my husband and I loved the most about the house was you felt like you were in a tree house when you looked out the window. It is probably one of the best houses for observin g the change in the leaves for this reason. Very private. Thank you for making it available to rent.
