Turn off the lights and lock the doors
If you've used the hot tub, please make sure the jets are off, the cover is in place, and the temperature is turned to 92 degrees.
If you've turned up the heat, please set it to 60 degrees prior to departure. If you've used the AC, please set it to 80 degrees.
Please turn off all lights, including the front porch lights. Thank you!
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
We do not allow bookings greater than 25 days. Bookings exceeding 25 days will be asked to cancel and rebook for a period 25 days or less.
When using the market lights around the porch or hot tub, please plug and unplug them at the outlet on the porch.
For stays longer than 10 days, please note we charge an additional midpoint cleaning at $150.

The host was very responsive and allowed us early check-in which was appreciated. The house is a very short car ride to town, less than 5 minutes. The house was very clean and the beds were comfortable. We would stay again.

This was our 3rd year staying in Black Mountain while our children attended a program called Compass at Montreat College. It was our first time staying in this property and we were very satisfied with our choice. Great communication, everything was clean and as advertised. Plenty of hot water and A/C and the beds were comfy. Overall quiet neighborhood though we did hear an occasional dog bark here and there but not during sleeping hours. We would definitely recommend and would stay again.

Just a quick one night stay in Black Mountain to drop our kids off at a nearby camp. The house fit our needs perfectly and was close to town. Would be happy to book here again.
