Great location with a lovely host

Close to everything Asheville but still feels like you're in the country. Easy access to Blue Ridge Parkway for site seeing. Property was perfect for the five of us and our two dogs. Our host, Debbie, thought of everything could have wanted or needed. Would definitely recommend.

Perfect Girls Weekend

Well maintained home with a great layout for gathering. Very private but close to Asheville for activities and dining. Loved the fireplace and outdoor fire pit in the cool evenings.

Beautiful Home and Property near Asheville

Beautiful home and great for family trip with grown children. QQK beds were all comfortable. The deck with fire table and grill and plenty of seating is a great additional living area. Location is quiet and a short drive to 74 A that leads to Asheville or Chimney Rock.

Beautiful

Beautiful and comfortable home. We enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely recommend. We appreciated how well appointed the house was. We even had wine and snacks left by the host. Cozy and I’d definitely stay there again.

Amazing house for a weekend away!

Debbie’s house was amazing! From the treats at check-in to the quick and thorough communication from Debbie - it was everything we could have hoped for for our sweet weekend away with friends. There was plenty of room and the house was supplied with all the essentials. An easy 20 min drive to downtown Asheville and a beautiful backyard and deck to enjoy. We would stay here again!

Mountain Mainstay

Our family enjoyed a three night stay at this clean and comfortable property. It has a spacious floor plan, with all the comforts of home. It is secluded yet close proximity to hiking trails, local breweries, apple and pumpkin picking. The outside deck has ample seating with a gas fire pit table, and is ideal for family gathering or relaxing.

Weekend stay

Nice clean and quite house! Plenty of privacy! The owner was wonderful! The only complaint which is not her fault, trying to get an uber was impossible! If youre looking for a nice quiet getaway, this is your place! But be prepared to have a DD!

The homeowner was very nice and so was the property!

We only had to bring food and clothing! Everything else was provided. She had binders of information detailing the property & how to use all amenities, local restaurants, local tourist attractions, and an easy checkout process. It really felt like a home away from home!

Family Girls Long Weekend

Property was just as described. When we arrived we had a very nice welcome basket awaiting us and tons of information on the area. The house was very clean and well stocked! The owner (Debbie) answered all of our questions ahead of time so we had no issues during our stay at all. We had a wonderful, relaxing girls long weekend!!! Would highly recommend this home.

Our getaway

Debbie made our stay very welcoming. All the instructions for check-in were clear. She called us not long after we arrived to make sure all was well with check-in and the home. It was clean and it was comfortable. I slept like a baby in the king sized bed. The location was perfect for what we wanted to do (Biltmore, downtown, breweries, and Mount Mitchell). We had a wonderful stay and memorable time in Asheville.

Spacious and beautiful home

This was the perfect reunion spot for our group of college friends. Plenty of room, beautiful home inside and out, and Debbie was friendly and responsive. We loved sitting outside on the deck, or in the comfy living room to catch up and reminisce on 30 years of friendship. Thank you Debbie!

Feed my soul

We could not have stayed at any other place as lovely as this one. I was looking for green to erase the memory of the Tucson desert and this home fit my expectations. It felt like a tree house, with large windows at every angle looking out across a beautiful garden into the forest and mountains. The furnishings were comfy and upscale so you really felt you were in a special place. Everything you could possibly need was supplied.

Christmas Getaway

This is our third stay at Debbie's beautiful home. Everything we could have possibly needed was provided along with a welcome basket with goodies for us and for the children. The house was so clean, great linens. The rooms and beds were comfortable and well appointed. We enjoyed spending time on the deck; the firepit was appreciated since it was COLD! The Christmas decorations were delightful. We celebrated Christmas with the children our second day at the house. We appreciate Debbie's attention to our comfort and we hope to stay again next year. Beautiful house and beautiful location.

Lovely place tucked away not far from Asheville

We stayed in December 2019 for a multigenerational family get together. This is a beautiful house and one of the most well stocked houses I have stayed in. The owner had everything set up nicely and finding the place and getting in was very smooth. We enjoyed having a place that felt like home for our 2 daughters (7&6). The downstairs bedroom was perfect for my mother who would not have dealt well with the stairs. The stairs are a bit steep at the top and there are several warnings to be careful which was a good reminder. I would highly recommend this place If you are looking for a place to stay.

Family Girl's Trip

We had an amazing weekend on our annual girl's trip. The house was perfect for the six of us. We have a range of ages from 20's to 70's and these weekends give us a chance to reconnect. The house was spotless and had everything we needed. Plenty of towels, paper products, hair dryers, coffee and coffee mugs. Debbie was quick to respond to all questions and checked in with us the first evening to make sure all was well. We were conveniently between Black Mtn and Asheville and were able to spend some time in both places. We highly recommend this location and hope to return in the future.

Great Place!

Five of us met up for a long girls weekend. This was a wonderful base to explore the area. We did a Candlelight Tour of Biltmore and then went back the next day to explore the property during the day. Even in November it was so beautiful! We also stopped at Folk Art Center & Cradle of Forestry on the Parkwa. Highly recommend a visit to both. I'd have to say - this was one of the nicest rentals I've stayed at. The place was beautifully decorated, beds comfortable, towels fluffy & the kitchen was very well stocked. We appreciated that Debbie generously allowed us to arrive early to leisurely prepare for our Biltmore evening visit. If I have the opportunity to visit Asheville again - I'll certainly check if this is open!

The house was perfect for our 3 generational family of 7 and doggies! House was clean, instructions for anything needed as well as local recommendations were provided. There was plenty of towels, toiletries, etc. as well coffee supplied and a very sweet snack basket! The view is so relaxing! Communication with Debbie was fantastic! We will definitely be back!

Great Getaway in Fairview

Wonderful stay at a fantastic VRBO. Debbie was outstanding with her comms throughout our stay and her house was everything as advertised. If you are looking for a place to stay near Asheville that can accomodate a couple to an entire family, this is the place to stay! Highly recommended.

Superlatives Fall Short

We had an extraordinary stay and our only wish is that it could have been longer. Debbie's place is warm, comfortable and welcoming with every amenity one could wish for. The house was immaculate, the yard amazing and the support information about the property, as well as the surrouinding area was thoroughly detailed and extremely helpful. And Debbie was in constant contact throughout and unbelievably reponsive whenever we reached out. It was about a perfect a stay as one could imagine!

Wonderful

Nestled in the hills and thick woods of North Carolina is the gem of a property. Our family of 6, including 4 kids 7 and under had a magical 2 weeks in Fairview. The house is beautifully maintained with everything you need. Debbie was a wonderful host, quickly available to help and so nice. The gift basket upon arrival was wonderful. We had a wonderful time and are looking forward to our next visit.
