About this property
River Runners Retreat - Hot Tub, Fire Pit, Fishing
Summary:
This riverside respite is where fun flows like the nearby Toccoa River. Just minutes from kayaking, tubing, and world-class fishing, this cabin vibrates from the river’s beating heart for water lovers and outdoor enthusiasts alike. After a day on the water, unwind in the new hot tub, gather by the fire pit, or simply enjoy the quiet from its deck. Whether seeking river thrills or your moment of Zen under a tapestry of stars, the energy from this riverside escape will rejuvenate your soul.
The Neighborhood:
Beautiful Mountain Town of Blue Ridge It’s easy to fall in love with Blue Ridge, Georgia. Start with scenic North Georgia, leaf-changing, mountain range enveloping all those chimney-smoking cabins in fall. Or, enjoy the endless options of fun-filled activities for any season. Whatever the adventure, the mountain breeze and stunning views are your supporting cast. Then there’s the warming heart of historic downtown Blue Ridge. And, oh my, does she have a lot of heart. Delicious restaurants and unique local shops and galleries you won’t find anywhere else is the gravity of her charisma. All this, and you’ll barely have time to visit the family-friendly wineries and orchards with their thrilling fall tractor hayride tours.
Getting Around:
In most cases, you will want to fly to the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport in Atlanta, Georgia. Rent an SUV or vehicle that rides high off the ground – preferably a 4-wheel drive if you want to explore all the waterfalls and hiking areas. You can get to most cabins in a 2-wheel drive but still would not drive a sedan. Roads on the mountains are curvy, narrow, and dark at night. Many roads are paved, but still many are gravel as well. It’s quite the adventure getaway in the great North Georgia mountains.!
Other Things to Note:
