My husband and I had a lovely Vermont autumn weekend at the Carriage house. The property is beautiful, the rental is well equipped and comfortable, and the hosts and their dogs are very welcoming. There are endless miles of gravel riding for cyclists in this part of Vermont, as well as great hiking, and the location is also close enough to Burlington to pop out for dinner etc. Highly recommended!!

If you want to be near a large city but also want to stay somewhere peaceful, this is your place. Very close to Burlington but out in the beautiful countryside. I enjoyed seeing the horses and basically having them live next door to me at night. I loved sitting outside with a glass of wine and enjoying the lovely scenery. I will definitely return if I am in this area again.

Had an amazing time at the carriage house with my wife and toddler. He loved seeing the horses throughout the day. The property was very nice, with a trail leading around it that we walked a few times during our stay in the morning or evening. Was nice to be dealing with real homeowners as opposed to a property management company for anything we needed during our stay. Would recommend.

Absolutely loved our stay! The carriage house is beautiful and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We loved watching the horses in the field and through the barn window! It was so neat to wake up hearing the horses in the barn. The sunset and the firepit were also highlights. Karen is just lovely...thank you!

We had a fantastic weekend at the carriage house! Karen and Greg were super welcoming while also giving us plenty of privacy. The views are great from the bedroom windows and our son enjoyed watching the horses through the “horse tv” window in the living area. We’d love to come stay again soon, thank you!

We absolutely loved our stay at this truly special Vermont getaway! There was something so warm and memorable about this place that made it feel like more than just somewhere to stay. If you’re an animal lover, you’ll especially appreciate it! We loved getting to meet the horses, dogs, and chickens, and those little moments ended up being some of our favorite parts of the experience. It’s the kind of place that makes you slow down, relax, and really enjoy being there.The location was wonderful, too. We loved being close to Burlington and all the great restaurants, shops, and fun things to do, while still being far enough away to feel like we had escaped to the peace and beauty of Vermont.The space was incredibly clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully stocked with absolutely everything we could possibly need. The hosts were so responsive and helpful, which made the entire experience feel easy and welcoming. And honestly, the property was even more wonderful than we expected based on the listing!We left feeling so happy we had found this little gem and would absolutely love to come back. Outstanding… Karen was a great host… the carriage house was very clean and comfortable. Definitely a unique experience having the horses right there where you can see them through a viewing window. The decision by the host to point the couch to look out a gigantic picture window next to a fireplace was also a very nice idea instead of pointing to a television. Thank you for the great stay.

The accommodations were beautiful, clean, comfortable. One of the owners, Karen was incredibly friendly and welcoming and the Mama of 3 dogs and horses - all of whom we interacted. My husband and I certainly plan on returning sometime in the future! Thank you!!!!

We loved our visit! The views were beautiful and we enjoyed meeting some of the resident dogs. The space was clean and had everything we needed. My favorite part of the trip was sitting outside and enjoying the fire pit, while watching the sun set over the property!
