Good location, decent neighborhood currently in transition. Trash everywhere on back porch, in parking area, host had no communication with me when I sent pictures of the mess. Home needs some love but acceptable for the price.
some things were not provided or we just couldnt find them, but there were no sheets or blankets for the pullout couch. the people above us were very loud, disrespectful and careless about how much noise they were making. when we got there, the back porch was trashed and there were other people's garbage just lying around, unkept and unattended to, so we decided to clean all of that up. we shouldnt have to clean after other people's messes, but i feel like thats self explanatory. despite those few things, we did have a nice stay.

Would have gotten a 4 star if sheets didn’t have hair all over them. House was clean on top, but couch bed was full of crumbs and hair and beds were full of hair. I have never given a bad review. No extra blankets
Overall stay was decent. Beds were very hard, as well as the pillows. The shower/tub was also very small, but usable. The house was clean overall, but there was a very strong marijuana smell coming from the neighbors. The fridge also seemed to have a small water leak and the dishwasher was not properly installed.

Disliked: Location
The house was comfortable and fairly well equipped. Most everything was in order. The hosts were great, and very responsive -- particularly in quickly handling two small issues that arose with the house. I rated as a 4 rather than 5 because of a couple of issues. (1) the shower, while somewhat charming, was very challenging to use. An old iron tub difficult to step into with oval rod and curtain not well constructed. Nowhere for soap and shampoo and challenging to adjust the temperature of water once in there. But workable. The location also was not ideal. Not the best area in KC. But overall, a good value.
