I am a farmer and usually busy on my 10 acres where I grow cut flowers, fruit, and veggies. I also raise, train and board horses. Although it's often difficult to leave the farm, I love to get out and about whenever possible and love meeting folks who come to visit from allover the globe. My background is in writing and the arts and I strive to balance farming with these other passions/careers. I'm always seeking new adventures and opportunities to expand my knowledge and experience of this amazing planet.
Why they chose this property
Although just minutes from the lively city of Bend, my township of Alfalfa is an island of peace and quiet, punctuated only by the sounds of birds chirping, bees buzzing, and the occasional horse whinny. Proximity to miles of wilderness and recreation, plus starry nights free from light pollution, make me feel supremely close to the natural world.
