Enjoy ski trial views of Stowe Resort in this spacious, ~3500 sf, ski-chalet conveniently located on Mountain Rd, ~1 mile to Toll House lift! Chalet 6 at Griffin Country Lodge offers a full kitchen and amenity rich living space. This home boasts four bedrooms as well as a bunk room and a loft with a plush king bed. Sit out on the wraparound deck and take in the views, head down to the fire pit, hot tub, or head to the swimming hole in the river. Matterhorn Bar & Topnotch Resort are close by.
Guest Access:
You will get full private access to the Chalet #6 as well as a ~ 9 acre property that is shared with the resort next door. The hot tub is private to guest of Chalet #6 while the pool is shared with the others.
The Neighborhood:
Stowe Mountain Resort is a little over a mile away - grab those skis or hiking boots. Griffin Lodge is on Stowe Mountain Rd, .1 miles to the famed Stowe Rec Path (for biking or cross-country skiing), .2 miles from the Matterhorn Bar, and .3 miles to Top Notch Resort (you can walk to the Top Notch wedding tent). During the ski season, the bus to the mountain stops out the front of the property - check its location on the GoStowe app!! We have a river with great swimming holes in the backyard. The Notchbrook Convenience store is .2 miles away in case you forgot food or necessities. You can bike the Rec Path to Stowe Farmer Market. If you are an adventurous hiker, you can leave the property and hike to summit Mt Mansfield!
Getting Around:
During the ski season, the bus to the mountain stops out the front of the property - check its location on the GoStowe app!!
Stowe Rec Path (for biking or cross-country skiing) is close by ~ .1 of a mile.
There is a large parking area with parking spaces in front.
If you are an adventurous hiker, you can leave the property and hike to summit Mt Mansfield!
