We loved this place for the night we spent in Hana. It was perfect for our needs as a family of four. In fact, we all wished we could have stayed longer. This place has a great vibe.
We loved staying here, and it was great for a family of 4. Kitchen very well stocked and lots of room, ping pong table a plus. Great to be able to split up Road to Hana drive.
We stayed at this place as a family of four and enjoyed our stay. One person had to sleep on a mattress on the floor but it was ok. The house is in a nice neighborhood and the ping pong table was fun. Kitchen well equipped. We would stay there again.
Very convenient location within Hana.Considering the Hana weather, the unit was cleaner than expected!Instructions for depositing used linens, towels, etc. would be nice. The remote control for the bedroom fan/light is extremely temperamental (battery old?).We could not find kitchen dish towels.Hanging facility for wet/damp beach towels clothes, etc., would be nice.
We did not think about air conditioning, so we were surprised to find several fans turned on and windows opened when we unloaded the car. It was a little warm inside, but by evening the air temp was great and we lowered the fan speeds. The house was clean and tidy with good linen. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and pans for preparing meals. The location was beautiful and we were able to visit a State Park and a National Park. After the drive down the Road to Hana, we were so glad that we could stay in the area and not have to drive back all in one day.
Great house in Hana! We arrived earlier than expected and contacted Tobi who graciously let us check in early! Will gladly book again on next trip to Hana!
Excellent price for this town. Everything was as specified. My daughter lived playing ping pong. We could see the ocean from the appartment. We had a great 4 days here.
It was as described. The location was good for a stay in Hana. You can see a slice of the ocean between the trees and homes across the street but there is no access to the ocean. It was about 30 minutes from a great hike at Pipiwai Trail south of Hana. They helped us out by letting us drop off our bags early.
Super spacious unit with lots of character. Check-in and out were very easy. Highly recommended.

My husband and I were both raised on Maui, we live in Upcountry Kula, Maui where both sided of our entire extended family also reside. We have three wonderful children and one grandson. We have always had a special place in our heart for Hana where we spent our younger years fishing, paddling and diving with close friends and family. When the chance arose to own our own home in Hana we jumped at it because we knew this is the place where we wanted to enjoy our family and vacation time with friends.
Why they chose this property
We loved the in-town proximity you can walk to everything. Hana Bay and Waikoloa Beach are right across the street and the stores, restaurants and park are all within a few miles. Not to mention the beautiful Travaasa Hotel which we enjoy having drinks at on special occasions and the great swimming and snorkeling at Hamoa Beach.
What makes this property unique
We do only allow 1 vehicles on property and there is no street parking. We have a great ping pong table, screened in lanais and beach stuff. You can walk everywhere and hear the ocean waves across the street. Hana is located in a beautiful tropical rainforest so there are insects. There are mosquitoes, lizards and your occasional spider. We like the lizards (geckos) because they eat the mosquitoes and the mosquitoes and spiders come with the territory. We provide repellent and citronella candles and torches and these help but please remember to keep all screens shut.
