Everything was as stated but even better

The property was the best I've been to. Everything they said was there and even more. Our group of 17 had plenty of room and plenty to do. Everything was well stocked, clean and there were lots of activities for all ages.

This is a great property. Everyone in our group found the beds really comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. The host was very responsive when we had a question. The location is great. There is a supermarket 5 minutes away and a really cute town - Aurora - just a bit further down the road. It has a great vantage point for watching sunsets each night from the dock, the deck, or the hot tub!

Long weekend gathering

Easy check in. Property was just as advertised. Very clean with lots of room. One hiccup with the AC was acted upon quickly and a temporary solution helped tremendously. Won’t hesitate to reserve again.

The property listed that there is a dock for our use. However the owners boat was parked there. On one side was the owners boat and on the other side a jet ski. We rented a Pontoon boat for 5 days and we had to park the boat at a marina boat slip away from the house. That was not convenient and a misrepresentation of what the rental offered. The Lake house is the nicer house of the two. The kitchen was well stocked. There is no pantry or shelving where we could store our groceries {this is a rental for 26 people} The rails on the deck are not very sturdy.....nor very safe. The Land house was OK....window air conditioners in several areas. There is no washer or dryer in the Land house. We still had a nice time....but the property is absolutely not worth what we paid for.

We’re sorry the dock was not available as advertised, Helene, especially since your group rented a pontoon boat for the stay. We also appreciate your feedback regarding grocery storage, the deck railings, and the amenities in the second house. These concerns are being reviewed with our team and the property owner.

Amazing view of Cayuga Lake and Beautiful Sunsets!

The property was perfect for our family getaway! We gave it a 4 out of 5 because we weren’t informed of the paving of the driveway that was scheduled for early morning the second day of our vacation. If it wasn’t for a neighbor making us aware of the situation and helping us figure out our car situation and how we would get out the next morning, we would have lost out on our pontoon boat rentals at Lake Seneca. After a ton of scrambling we were able to relocate our cars and walk to the location to get our cars to get to our outing. Otherwise it was a wonderful time and location.

Dual House was well kept and a pleasure to experience. Kids and adults had so much fun on the lake in the kayaks and paddle boards. The sunset over the lake is spectacular. The 12 bedrooms gave all of us (16) plenty of comfort. Had a small issue getting into lake house for check-in but was quickly resolved by the managing team. Kitchen is well stock for utensils. while there wasn't enough room for all of us to sit at a table the "Great room" allowed us all to comfortably eat at the lake house. The dual house allowed "early to bed" be away from the noise and the "late stay up" to have their time.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience at Dual House! We’re delighted to hear that both kids and adults enjoyed the kayaks, paddle boards, and those spectacular lake sunsets. It’s wonderful that the 12 bedrooms provided plenty of comfort for your group of 16, and that the “Great Room” made it easy for everyone to enjoy meals together. We appreciate your understanding regarding the brief check-in issue, and we’re glad our team could resolve it quickly. It’s also great to hear the dual house layout worked so well for both early sleepers and late-night gatherings. We truly appreciate your kind words and hope to welcome you back for more fun on the lake!

The lake house is very nice and is where we all gathered. The land house is fine and clean but has fairly low ceilings and isn't very bright -- good for sleeping but you'll want to spend time at the lake house. The hosts were very responsive and quickly sorted out an issue with the door code.

Thank you for your thoughtful review! We’re so glad to hear you enjoyed the lake house as the main gathering space for your group and that our responsiveness helped quickly resolve the door code issue. We appreciate your feedback regarding the land house as well. It’s helpful to hear how guests experience each space, and we understand that preferences around brightness and ceiling height can vary. As you noted, it is designed as a more cozy, secondary sleeping space, while the lake house serves as the primary communal area. We truly appreciate you staying with us and hope to have the opportunity to host you again in the future!
