Happy Haven has it all - great downtown location, two decks to relax on, and so much more! You'll enjoy all that this 3 story condo has to offer including 2 bedrooms, 1.5 baths, a generous living space, and a fully stocked kitchen.

INSIDE
On the first floor, you will find a landing (great for dropping all your beach toys!), the garage, and a washer/dryer. The kitchen, half bath, and living room are on the second floor. The living room features a flat-screen TV, and access to the spacious patio that has a patio set and grill. On the third floor, you will find a large master bedroom with a king size bed, twin day bed with trundle, smart TV, and access to the upper-level patio. Also on the third floor is the guest bedroom with a queen bed and smart TV, and a full bathroom.

All the TVs are smart TVs that you can access your Netflix, Hulu, Pandora, etc. Additional amenities include WiFi and air conditioning.

SLEEPING
This condo sleeps six with all bed and bath linens provided.

Bedroom #1 - King bed, twin daybed with trundle
Bedroom #2 - Queen bed

OUTSIDE
The lower deck has a patio table, chairs, and a gas grill. The upper deck features a table and chairs as well. The musical fountain and fireworks can be seen from both decks. You won't have to worry about fighting traffic or crowds! (YAY!)

PARKING
Parking is provided for 3 vehicles. One inside the garage, one outside the garage, and the other in the designated space in the parking lot.

THE LOCATION
This condo is located in downtown Grand Haven by Chinook Pier. Chinook Pier features a farmers market, a splash pad and mini-golf for the kids, charter fishing, bike and boat rentals, and the boardwalk. It is also two blocks away from downtown Grand Haven, with its fabulous restaurants, bars, brewery, coffee shops, and boutique shops. Grand Haven State Park, the beach, and Lake Michigan are just a mile down the way. You can take the boardwalk, which starts at Chinook Pier, and walk along the channel to the beach.

CANCELLATION POLICY
- Cancel within 48 hours of making your reservation at no charge.
- Cancel 30 days or more in advance, and receive a full refund.
- Cancel 14 days in advance, and receive a 50% refund.
- No refunds for cancellations less than 14 days in advance of reservation start date.

There are no refunds for early departures, reduction of nights rented, or delayed arrivals due to inclement weather or any other factor. Please consider trip insurance to protect your investment.

This property is locally managed by BVW Unsalted Vacations Property Management in Holland, MI. We provide a starter kit of paper products, toiletries, hospitality-grade linens and much more.

Check-in is a breeze; drive straight to your rental and let yourself in with a unique lock code. We'll send you all the information you need including directions, key codes, and instructions so you'll be ready to rest, relax and rejuvenate!

Overall the condo was great although it is a bit outdated. Definitely need to attend to screen doors which both have large holes in them. Carpet could be updated as well. Management was very responsive to any of our needs throughout our stay. Location is super convenient.

Our stay in this condo couldn't have been better. You are a minute away from downtown where there is shopping, bars and amazing restaurants. Not to mention the board walk and farmers market! This property was clean and well stocked. The bedrooms are cozy and the beds are comfortable. There is plenty of room to entertain on the 2 decks. They have spectacular views of the channel where you can see the musical fountain and no better place to see the fireworks!! Especially pleased to have a garage where we kept our bikes and beach chairs. Loved this condo, and will definitely return!

It is noisy with a lot of traffic noise.

The cookie sheet needed to be thrown out( mostly black), the bed linens were ruff to the feel, and a lot of steps. Not for elderly people.

A Week in Grand Haven

We started off with difficulty getting the front door to unlock. After working with it for some time, my husband got it to open. Then he went into the garage and the opener did not work. The result of these two things was that he went to the hardware and bought a battery and replaced the one in the door. It then worked perfectly. Then he figured out how to get the garage to open. Something with two wires that only a man could do. The next thing was the TV. We were promised either cable or satellite and had neither. Very disappointing as we like to watch football when on vacation. It did rain all week but that was no fault of the owner. We had a fine time anyway.

Our stay was very nice and relaxing. The location was perfect close to downtown. The balconies were amazing. We could watch and listen to the musical waters show. Would come back again.

Wonderful Vacation

The rental is in the heart of Downtown Grand Haven. 5 minute walk to Restaurants and shopping. 25 minute walk to the Grand Haven south pier. The decks on the second and third floor are the hang out spots when you are inside the rental. The beds were very comfortable and the central air conditioning worked fantastic. It was very warm while I was there and the air conditioning was a must. I would highly recommend renting Happy Haven.

It’s my second year at Happy Haven and I hope to return again next year. The condo is comfortable and its location cannot be beat. My grandkids love the Splash Pad, parks and ice cream shops all within walking distance. The Musical Fountains can be seen from the balcony and it's a five minute walk to amphitheater. The staff of Unsalted Vacations have always been great to work with. They are real people who call you, respond to your emails and listen to your feedback.

Reviewer Comments: The property's location was great for us - just across the street from the marina, s small shopping center, a great little playground, and a very inexpensive minigolf, and a small splash park. For our family with 2 little kids, it was convenient. Nice to have covered parking and a garage since Grand Haven is very walkable - but also offers plenty of parking in most areas if you plan to drive. We drove to the beach each day, but a family with older kids (or less stuff!) could probably bike or walk there, if desired. The beach at the state park has ample parking, so driving was the simplest option for us. A very nice amount of space for our 4-person family, and we really enjoyed having 2 very nicely-sized decks to enjoy. You could see the musical fountain from the deck on the 3rd floor. Overall, a great experience - thank you!

There was the Splash Pad, Mini Golf, Musical Fountain (which you can see from the balcony) and a yummy ice cream shop directly across the road - which is extremely pedestrian friendly for crossing. Happy Haven was extremely comfortable which is how I want my vacation to be. The only thing that needed attention were the blinds in the master bedroom and the Representative from Unsalted Vacations told me this was in the works. I love Grand Haven and working with Unsalted Vacations to secure a home away from home (this is my second year) and hope to set up a third year in the very near future.

Fun for the Family, Comfortable, Clean!

The condo was everything we could have possibly wanted. Jo was very prompt in responding to my inquiries. My family of 5 had all we needed and then some to make our trip fantastic. Everything was convenient for us from the fully stocked kitchen (every appliance and gadget one could possibly want) to the movies, the beach, the laundry area, the beds (which were more comfortable than my own). My kids enjoyed watching the musical fountain from our balcony too! There is absolutely nothing I can say bad about my stay at Happy Haven Condo, other than we didn't stay long enough. We will definitely be staying again in the future. As well as referring it to all my friends and family.
