We invite you to go off the beaten path and experience the charm and feel of the real Vermont! Private, sophisticated, and cozy getaway in the Green Mountains that is perfect for skiers, bikers, hikers, and the whole family. 15 minutes from the city of Rutland, 25 minutes from Killington Resort, 15 minutes to Pico Mountain, and 5 minutes to Mountain Top Resort, this is the perfect retreat for relaxation and adventure.

ABOUT THE HOUSE

The main floor of the home is designed for comfort and convenience. Enter through a dedicated mud room, perfect for storing outdoor gear after a day of adventure. Inside, you'll find a fully equipped kitchen, a welcoming living room with a television and board games, and a spacious dining area that seats 8 comfortably. A half bath and a washer/dryer are also located on the main floor.

Upstairs, you’ll find three well-appointed bedrooms and two full baths. The Master Bedroom boasts a king bed, dresser, and private bath. The Blue Room offers a queen bed, a single bed, dresser and a closet. The Pink Room features a queen bed, dresser, and closet. There is a dedicated desk area for those who need to work during their stay.

The house is situated on a beautiful, flat property along a quiet private road. Enjoy a peaceful afternoon on the front porch, an evening in the hot tub, and take advantage of the large private driveway that can accommodate three to four vehicles.

In the summer and fall, explore scenic hiking trails and the expansive VAST snowmobile trails, or kayak and paddleboard on the serene Chittenden Reservoir. Take a trail ride at Mountain Top Resort and savor dinner and cocktails on their stunning patio with breathtaking views. Golf enthusiasts will love the nearby courses at Killington Resort, and for a bit of fun, enjoy a round of miniature golf in Mendon before starting your day with a hearty breakfast at the charming Sugar and Spice.

As the winter months roll in, the excitement continues! Hit the slopes for world-class skiing and snowboarding at Killington Resort or try your hand at snowshoeing through the pristine snowy landscapes. IMPORTANT NOTE

Please note that Blue Ridge Road is a private dirt road. From October through April, a 4-wheel drive vehicle with snow/rugged all season tires or a 2- wheel drive vehicle with snow tires is required to navigate safely. Uphill traffic has the right of way. Additionally, there is a steep hill behind the house that leads down to a stream. For your safety, we kindly ask that you remain on level ground and avoid venturing near the hillside.
