Great location and many amenities that made our stay even more enjoyable . The host was awesome to keep us supplied with anything we might need.Grandkids stopped by that love in town and loved the candy basket.They also enjoyed seeing the deer.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house met our needs and the location felt safe and private. We utilized the kitchen for our meals and found everything we needed to prepare them. The dishwasher was out of service when we arrived but it was not a big deal and was scheduled to be serviced after our visit. We appreciated the good communication with our host. We recommend this house and hope to stay again soon.

The home was not as advertized and had other problems.Yes, there were 2.5 bathrooms, but only 1.5 were operational. Yes, there was hot water, but not enough to take two showers in a row.Yes, there was an outdoor space/fire pit, but it was overgrown and unuseable.Yes, there was a lanai, but it was dirty & furniture was rain-soaked. I would have had to clean it to use it.Yes, there was a dishwasher, but it had almost no dish racks in the lower level and wasn't attached to the countertop.Yes, there was a washer/dryer, but the door to them was locked. Upon inspection, with the host's approval, we were able to bypass the lock. The stairs were incredibly narrow and steep - we opted to not wash clothes.Yes, the claim was that it was a "smart home", but no "smart" things worked.Addtionally, there were ants, which he knew about previously. He had them treated while we were there, which was only semi-affective.The outlet covers were missing in the kitchen - safety concern.We gathered up 12 air fresheners from throughout the house and put them outside to try to air out the house from their smells.The morning of arrival, the host sent instructions to get in, along with notes/alerts about the hot water heater, outdoor area, and bathroom. All of these things were known weeks before our visit and yet he did not tell us (which would have allowed us to find another place to stay).

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. While I am sorry your stay did not meet your expectations, I would like to provide some context for future guests. Your stay occurred shortly after a series of severe spring storms that impacted the outdoor areas. Although custom tarps had been installed to protect the patio space, weather conditions temporarily affected portions of the seating area and lawn. The grass was serviced during your stay, and the grounds have since fully recovered and are looking beautiful. Regarding the bathroom, I informed you that a pipe replacement was needed and offered to have the repair completed during your stay. However, I also respected your preference not to be disturbed by the plumber while work was being performed. The repair has since been completed, and guests are now enjoying full use of that bathroom. The home is treated year-round through a professional pest control program, with additional treatments during the spring season. Maintaining a clean, comfortable property is always a priority. I take great pride in communicating with guests and addressing concerns promptly. As a Superhost, I have built my reputation on providing excellent customer service and resolving issues whenever they arise. Had these concerns been communicated during your stay, I would have worked diligently to address them. I appreciate your feedback and wish you and your family all the best.

Piece of country

Todd,s home is very unique as it sits on a large private parcel of land right off the main street. Sadly we were there during the worst heat wave for over a week so had no desire to be outside yet there is a fire pit and numerous wildlife as we saw fawns and hedgehog once yet bunnies every day in the yard. Only serious issue which he handled exceptionally is the ac needed to be replaced so we were credited couple nights and portable units were eventually installed to help us sleep at night. Todd is working hard at updating the inside of the property so couple little things that will most certainly be improved as he takes pride in hosting. I've already booked another stay in month so

I could tell the host had thought about everything. My group of girl friends went and was pleasantly surprised to find the space, specifically the rooms, bigger than we thought. House is connected to a lot of smart things like Alexa and TVs but that was very ideal for us as it made the check in process easy as well as listening to music all together. The property is perfectly positioned in a quiet little town but close enough to everything you could possibly need! 2 bathrooms, only one master but so nice to have. Deer were on the property every morning and night. The living room space was perfect with enough seating for a family or group of friends to comfortably relax. Had a dishwasher, toaster oven, oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, loads of dishes, and the host even provided us with snacks, waters, and ice in the fridge. We went to a concert at The Pavilion at Star Lake and while we did encounter a traffic block that took us on a detour at the end, the drive was not bad. You can also pull the car right up to the door for easy unloading. There's a flag, cross, and bench in the front and a large backyard with a tented outdoor seating with table area and then firepit across from the front door (which is technically the back door haha). We loved our stay and would more than recommend for a girls/couple/family/any type of trip!
