Thank you for your kind review. I'm delighted to hear that you and your family had a smooth, easy, and stress-free experience. We hope to host you again in the future!
Fabulous stay at a traditional local cabin. The house itself is divided into two buildings, a main house with a few bedrooms and a games house with one bedroom. It’s not modern but is perfectly fine and we had a lovely time. There are two lakes within walking distance, we went to blue lake which had an excellent recreation centre. Overall a brilliant weekend, no complaints

Thank you so much for the wonderful review of your stay at our home! We hope to host you again in the future!
Arnold has been a favorite weekend destination for our family for many years. It was the perfect spot for us to gather to celebrate Thanksgiving, now that we all live in different areas, several hours apart. There was plenty of space to play on the property. Between the basketball hoop, foos ball table, pool table and games gaolre - the cabin had it covered. We are pretty picky about cleanliness and found that areas of the kitchen could definitely use a good deep clean (cupboards, pots, pans, etc.), as well as the BBQ. Overall, it was a great stay and very comfortable!

Arnold Family Vacation
First of all, the house was clean. But there was no place for us to store our food that we brought to make breakfast, lunch, dinner as we had planned Bbq nights and playing cards and games with our family and grandchildren. Under the stove would have been a good place for pantry items but it was filled with kids games, other things I don’t know. Way too much to put somewhere else so we store everything in the kitchen in boxes we brought it all in and in the hallway by the back door. They did have every spice you can imagine but not need. Cabinet under the stove wouldn’t stay closed.
Adult Kids beds, they all said were terrible beds. They need to get new ones.
We had the master bedroom and the bed was fine for us. We share the bathroom upstairs with the other bedroom so ok that’s fine. There is a Downstairs bedroom off the kitchen and a bathroom that has the washer and dryer in it.
When we get in and start finding room for our food we noticed the washing machine was leaking and the floor was wet. We called and informed them and thought they would like to have somebody come fix it but that didn’t happen. We kept it dry as we didn’t want anything to happen to the house.
The playground area was a no for our grandkids. Just not in that good of shape. The game room has a bedroom up this Narrow spiral style steps which were way to steep for me but younger adults ok. Door to outside patio very hard to open cause of carpet. Give your guests a room for their food. Replace your beds

Thank you for the detailed review. I appreciate you taking the time to provide this feedback. The issues you raised regarding the lack of adequate storage space, the problematic beds, and the washing machine leak are all valid concerns. I will make sure to relay this information to the property owners so they can address these matters for future guests.
We recently stayed at this cabin in BLS, the location is great! walking distance to the lake. Although the actual cabin could use some work! The beds were incredibly uncomfortable. We all woke up not well rested. There are many small choking hazard toys loosely in baskets reachable for small kids. The playground had broken glass all over the ground around it. I didnt feel like this cabin was suitable for small children as there are some steep steps down into the kitchen as well. The bunk house is a cute addition. We enjoyed our stay but likely wont be back.
We stayed at the Bear Bungalow over the 4th of July WE. We really liked the house. The house was clean and we had enough towels for all of us. The kitchen is fully equipped with plenty of dishes which was convenient for our big group of 8. We had plenty of space for everybody. Check-in and check-out were easy and we appreciated all the tips provided by the agency.

Bear's Bungalow
The house was just fine for our purposes. It is "tired" both inside and out, and the amenities were hit and miss - Great stock of utensils, and such; no toaster or dishtowels, as examples. Mostly clean, but the barbeque needs a serious cleaning or replacement.
I wouldn't return to the house for a couples' weekend, but it was fine for a group of guys watching the NCAA basketball tournament.
Thanks for the space. We enjoyed it overall.

The cabin is nice but the Bungalo needs work!
The cabin was great ! Well stocked with dishes and pot and pans ! Only a few comments about the Bungalo It is in need of remodel ! The beds were hard if you like this it’s the place for you! Loved the play yard for the kids! There are a lot of toys and games for the family to enjoy! Wish there was a little more dusting some areas where dusty! But overall this is a great place to spend with your family ! Only five mins from bigtrees ! Lots of snow . Fresh towels .

The cabin needs lots of work! Very old, dusty & ugly!
The cabin smells like smoke. The windows are too thin. It was very cold in there and took a long time for the heater to heat up. The place needs a lot of work. It was dusty. My son kept on sneezing because he has asthma. The dishes were not very clean so we used our own paper plates etc...
overall it was probably one of the worst places we ever stayed in. The couches are very old & dusty. The foosball table is super old & very dirty. My kids didn’t even touch it. We would never stay there again.

Great for kids but needs a little tlc
The rental company was super easy to work with. We had our family and another family with 3 kids in total and they loved it! So much for them to do! Lots of games and toys to play with! The location is great in blue lakes springs and close to everything. When you pay the cleaning fee I would have liked to come into a clean cabin. We found many many cobwebs and the floors needed to be vacuumed especially in the bunk house. Also some of the towels we had seemed to have collected dirt on them. They have a ton of towels and the rest were fine but just having a few dirty ones seemed off-putting. Overall it was a great cabin just needed some extra care.

very nice
I recommend this property to anyone who loves to hang out with family or friends. Lots of space and room to sleep and play. My two kids loved the play room with fooseball and air hockey table. The only thing that bug us all was the internet connection speed. I could not even look or post anything on facebook and instagram with the download speed of 1 mb. Other beside that we had a great time at the cabin. Also if you have At&t cell phone service, you can forget receiving or calling anyone. No service out there.

Rustic!
The kitchen is very well stocked with spices galore and pots and pans a plenty, the outside play structure had to be completely cleaned before it was able to be used with layers of pine needles. We arrived to be greeted by numerous light bulbs out and the outside patio was not cleaned with all the debris that had fallen during the apparent tree trimming that had happened during the previous months and the refrigerator was with an inch of water in the vegetable drawers and underneath. We reported this right away to the management co. and they were going to send a cleaning crew over but they never showed and we had the water in the fridge the rest of our stay because it is old and needs replacing. The carpeting in both the main house and the bunk house were very old. Found old dirty shoes under the couch in the bunk house. Unfortunately we had a washer mishap as we were leaving, the pipe that lets the water drain was laying flat on the ground which was obviously not apparent before the wash was started and proceeded to flood the bathroom. This place needs updating but it still did not dampen our Thanksgiving holiday with our family.

Great family cabin
The cabin has plenty of beds and things to do with a group of families. There were tons of board games and a great selection of older movies. The pool table was in a small room which made it tough, but lots of fun. The kids enjoyed the air hockey and playground. The realty company was great to work with. Overall great experience!
