Beautiful home with a well stocked kitchen, sitting and eating area, large bedrooms with their own bathrooms, and a place to do laundry. The guest house is also lovely and suited our needs perfectly. It is also a great location with easy access to hiking and exploring the area.

We were traveling along the coast and stayed two nights. The home was clean, comfy, quiet and the beds were absolutely one of the most comfortable beds I have slept in. It was near beaches, hiking trails and the town of Mendocino. Lori was easy to keep in touch she answered texts messages quickly. I would stay again. Sharon

The property is excellent and we had a very comfortable stay. The property was maintained very well and everything was clean. The decor was very nice. Kitchen was fully equipped. Property is located just 5Mins drive to Mendocino. We will definitely recommend this property and will rebook whenever we visit Mendocino area next time.

5 of us—sibs and spouses—stayed 2 nights in this sweet, well-appointed, sparkling clean 2-bedroom home with casita. Beautifully furnished; spacious rooms; the best equipped kitchen any of us have encountered; spa with crystal-clean water; tasteful decor; cozy and comfortable. Would stay again and highly recommend this perfect property!

This was an easy home to stay at because it was so relaxing. After a day of being out and about it was really relaxing to return to. We would call it “going home”.The house was really clean and up to date. It had all the appliances and household items that you would find in your own house. We did have time to try out the hot tubs or sit out on the deck furniture.The houses are really decorated beautifully. So many details but not at all fussy.The only thing that I would suggest if you are particular about your mattress hardness is to test out the mattresses in each bedroom to find the one you like. The big king mattress was fluffy and soft, the queen in the casita was on the firm side and then my queen mattress was “just right.”Thank you Lori!

Everything was great! Decor was perfect, rooms were big, had everything we needed. Outside area was perfect! Casita was really cute and was just right for us two couples. Close to everything! We had dinner across the street at Little River Inn and it was excellent... and they have really cute bar area. Lori was always available and was easy to communicate with. We had zero issues! Would definitely stay here, again.

Fabulous modern stay

What a gem this house is! A small group of us gals came for a relaxing bachelorette getaway and this place was perfect. We loved the decor, the modern accommodations, the surrounding trees, and of course the hot tub! Would definitely stay again.

This was the perfect property for my family! I was traveling with my husband and my sister and her husband as well as my parents. This property offered us privacy from our parents as well as plenty of room for us altogether in the main house for meals. The hot tub was great and,bonus, it didn’t smell too much like chlorine! I’ve had that problem recently at other property rentals. Communication with the host was great, even when my sister put in the wrong code multiple times and got us locked out. Thank you so much, would totally return!

We stayed here for about a week and had an excellent time. This property had everything we needed. It was just a short drive to Van Damme State Park (about 2-3 minutes) and about a 5-10 minute drive into town.Most importantly, the house was even better than it looked in the pictures. Up front the house is easy to find and access, but in the back by the casita and hot-tub area, the yard opens up into a beautiful redwood grove. The environment was peaceful and quiet, and we often saw deer and other wild life from the patio.When we arrived, the house was immaculately clean, with a fully equipped kitchen, plenty of extra towels and blankets, complementary Laundary, and everything else you could need. Master bedroom had great design touches.Internet was reliable and fast. In addition, our host Lori was excellent at communicating with prompt responses to any questions we had.Loved our stay here and would definitely come back.

Very pleasant weekend getaway

The owners were easy to contact and responded to inquiries promptly. We drove our EV and were pleased to find a universal charger on site. The kids were able to spread out in the guest cottage, allowing my wife and me to enjoy a quiet dinner and some peace and quiet. The best route from San Francisco seems to be taking Highway 101 north to Cloverdale, then Highway 128 through the redwoods—combining speed with scenic views. We would definitely stay again.

Perfect peaceful getaway

I cannot say enough about this beautiful hideaway. This spacious, quiet property is in a great location, only a couple of minutes from the beach, Van Damme State Park (great hiking), and downtown Mendocino, yet it feels remote and private. The home and cottage were immaculately clean and stocked with everything we needed and more in all areas, but especially the kitchen - we didn’t even need to pack our own coffee! It was so nice to be able to have a place to cook. The design of the home and cottage was also gorgeous and totally helped us settle quickly into vacation mode. Looking forward to returning to this home in the future!

Wonderful find close to it all

We stayed at this hidden gem as part of a 50th birthday celebration in Mendocino. The home was conveniently situated close to Mendocino proper and many of the county's attractions, including hiking and shopping. The home was clean and offered many extras, including beach chairs (great amenity to have on our many walks on the beaches), fully stocked kitchen, clean hot tub, blankets for cool evenings and a propane fire ring on the deck perfect for unwinding after a day sight seeing! Hosts were responsive and willing to help with suggestions and recommendations! The casita "bonus space" was also great! Would stay here 100% again!! We loved coming "home" after our daily adventures and cooking on the grill!

This place was amazing. It was clean, open, airy, and well-appointed. We had everything we needed. I love that even the smallest details were considered (like posting the wifi and stocking some kitchen items, and quality items vs. just rental supplies). The bed linens were amazing, and the bed was so comfortable. The hot tub was the best!!. There are places you stay that are just that...a place to stay. And then there are those that really enhance your experience. This is one of those. Loved it, and if we are ever in this area again, I would re-book. Thank you for renting such a homey well-cared-for place:)
