Had a few little problems that were taken care very promptly.

So property is in stages of updating. The kitchen and furniture are all brand new. Other furniture in bedrooms is very dated. Carpeting through out is shot, tack strips in transition areas prick you feet. The bathrooms flooring is stained/moldy, sinks have major chips/rust, towel bar missing, hole in back of door, dated lighting, heat lamps that turn on but don’t work. The bunk bed top level is so unstable my 7 and 4 year old grandchildren won’t even sleep in it, even though when they first saw it they thought it was so cool. I would highly recommending putting in a new update queen/twin bunk bed Heating was either full on or full off, very warm in the unit. They have a toaster that works but only the out side burners work so you have to flip the toast half way through to get both sides done. The TV in the master bedroom turns on but there is no signal. They are like 60% there to having this unit in top notch shape, would not take much in cost to finish it up.

Nice location

Tried to get ahold of manager due to condo having a lot of pet stains and pet hair all over furniture.

Amazing Location

You can't beat the location especially if you like skiing blues/blacks. Only thing to note is that there is not a hot tub on site. You must go to the rec center and pay a fee which is misleading considering the place indicates a hot tub in amenities. Honestly, this was initially disappointing but given the exceptional location it was worth it and we didn't miss the hot tub!

Unbeatable Location and Property

You absolutely can not beat the location of this unit. You are a 2 minute walk from the exit of the building to the Super Bee lift. The property managers and owner were extremely prompt when we has a question regarding parking and entry/exit was seamless. This property is BY FAR the BEST VALUE on the mountain. We will be booking this place again next year.

Good value and great location

We had a good stay at Snowflake. A lot of time ‘ski in ski out’ can be a bit of a stretch but this one really is with enough room for two families.

Great location

We love copper resort & have been frequenting here for years. This was our first experience staying in East Village. The location was outstanding, but the room is very dated & quite cool. The heater didn’t seem to keep up. The room has large windows that are quite drafty. They did provide a space heater & there was a fireplace with wood provided but I’m not comfortable keeping it lit when not present. The floors were very cold, I would recommend slippers & a throw or two for when relaxing in the living room. The room had everything we needed & was clean. It was pet friendly also. We’d stay here again for convenience but feel it’s a bit pricey for the condo considering it’s age.

Conveniently located.

It’s an older place and only 1 parking spot but about as close as it gets to the slopes. Also, there is no hot tub on site. You have to go to the athletic club and there is a fee.

Our family of 5 from Iowa thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Snowflake.

Great place!! We didn’t decide that we were for sure going to CO until a few weeks before our trip, so we were very thankful to find Snowflake available and at a reasonable price. Because there are 5 of us and we need a hotel suite instead of a regular room, Snowflake was only a little more than the hotels in the area and we were on the mountain!! That is something we had always talked about would be so cool! And it was! No driving to and from the slopes was very convenient, not to mention beautiful!! Just take the elevator down 1 floor and walk a very short distance to the Super Bee Lift or a few more feet to the free shuttle busses that take you to the other villages at Copper Mountain. Our children are 15, 16, and 16 and good skiers. If they were beginners I would rather have something near West Village or Center Village because the trails near East Village are mostly black diamond. But it worked out fine for us. And, like I said, buses are available to go to the other villages and very convenient. The building is older but well kept. A reserved parking spot under the condo was convenient as well. We had trouble locking our room door and called the management company. Tim came right away and it turned out to be our error. Great service though! We had my sister in law and her family from South Denver over for dinner and the kitchen and living room were great for entertaining! We watched a movie and the kids played cards at the huge kitchen table. The only negatives would be a little work needs to done on a couple outlets and the heater register in the bedroom. And, one blanket in the living room needs replaced. Other than that everything was wonderful!! Thank you for a great stay at Cooper Mountain!

Great property!

What a fantastic property! You just can’t beat the convenience of ski in and ski out and we feel lucky to have stayed here twice this ski season. The condo is very comfortable and well appointed, particularly with kitchen equipment. The pet-friendly policy, nearby restaurants and Copper shuttle just steps away are big bonuses. We will definitely try to book this property again in the future.

Disappointing

Four of us stayed here January 2018. Don't get me wrong, it's a nice enough place, but not what we were expecting based on the pictures/description. Here's a list of the pros and cons: Pros: * Very close to the Super Bee. You can ski right to the base of the condo * Nice kitchen appliances. Loved the flat top range instead of the traditional, cheap, coil range * Nice furniture * Big TV (but the blue ray/DVD player didn't work) * Real wood fireplace added nice ambiance Cons: * Pretty limited kitchen utensils to go with the nice appliances. Our assumption was that since the owners spent some money on the appliances, there would be adequate cooking equipment to go along with it...we were wrong. I understand it's a rental and it will never be as equipped as a personal home, but there were no pans to bake on and there were only 5-6 full sized kitchen plates. There were probably close 50 cups in the cupboards, though. Not sure who would ever need that many. For a place with limited cupboard space, that seemed like a silly use of the space there was. * The silverware was just in a basket inside a cupboard and every time we took it out, silverware would fall out of the basket because of the design. The basket is meant more for larger utensils like spatulas, large stirring spoons, etc. * Under the Pool/Spa portion of the listing it shows "Communal Pool, Heated Pool, Hot Tub, Indoor Pool, Sauna" but you actually have to hover over those words to find out that all of that is not actually onsite and that you have to drive across the village and pay to use them at the athletic club. This was a big let down for us... * The 2nd "bedroom" isn't really a room. It's just a bunk bed in an extension of the living room and there are no black out curtains, so it never really gets very dark in there. * You're required to pay for an insurance policy. We've been coming to Colorado skiing for 15 years now and to Copper for the last 4 and don't recall ever having to pay for an insurance policy. Maybe it's because of the wood burning fireplace, but other than that, we weren't sure what that was for. * Lastly, and I realize this is out of the owner's control, but the floors were very cold due to the fact that this is on the 2nd floor and below it is the open air parking area. Might want to bring some slippers... Unfortunately, we won't be back.

Great location, shows its age

This unit is in need of a face lift. The utilities in this unit are aged and in need of repair. The toilet in the master bath ran all night. I was forced to turn the valve off when not using it. It was one of the least expensive ski in ski out condos offered. Found out why based on the general condition. I am not a very picky person when it comes to my accommodations, but would not have wanted to bring my family to this unit.

GREAT location right at the foot of SuperBee.

Located right across the street from the Shuttle to West and Center Villages. The condo was clean with a fully stocked kitchen. The table is a bit large for then space but we made it work fine. An unlimited supply of firewood was provided and the fireplace was wonderful. We used it every evening. Communications with the owner before our stay were prompt and instructions were very clear. Our only discomfort was the Master suite bed. The egg-crate mattress probably helped but it is very soft. The heat worked almost too well but we learned to turn it way down in the evening when we had the fireplace burning so it wasn’t so hot during the night. As others have noted, the wall with the window between the 2 bedrooms is a bit odd but not a problem for us as it was my son’s family in the 2nd BR and the window shade provided sufficient privacy for us. Of course the ability to bring our puppy along was a wonderful bonus. Thanks for allowing us to use your condo for the week!

Convenience to the lift was the best part about the property

If you are looking for privacy, this is not the condo for you. We were there with our four kids and the second "bedroom" was separated from the master with a thin wall that had three windows and it separated from the living room with an accordion style door, none of which provided much privacy for any of us. The living room was relatively spacious, however the kitchen was a joke. The table was way too big for the space and we kept running into it just trying to move thru. If you plan to cook, good luck! There was no counter space, the dishes and cookware were sparse and there were no drawers for silverware, it was on the counter in baskets. However, if you wanted a drink there were plenty of wine and alcohol glasses. The property seems to be poorly maintained and kept clean. It is advertised as a pet friendly condo and apparently it is, there was dog hair all over the carpet. The bathroom cabinets had all kinds of miscellaneous products and make up left in the bathroom as well, leaving us very little space to put our things. One of the blinds in the living room area had apparently fallen out of the ceiling, leaving the window completely uncovered which reduced our privacy as well. In the master bedroom we noticed the carpet was wet, and called the property management about it. They did send someone by to look and they put our fan on the carpet and said they would send someone back to look at the heater. When the plumber did come, they discovered the heater had been leaking for quite some time and it was a bigger problem than they anticipated and the plumber was there for half a day causing me to miss a day of skiing and then finally determined it would be best to wait until summer to fix the problem. The owner did bring a couple of space heaters since they had to turn off the heat in the bedroom, which was considerate. It also appeared that there are several copies of the parking pas for the unit floating around, more than once we had someone knock on our door and ask if we were parked in a different units space because the cars parked in those spaces had passes for the unit we were in. Again, being right next to the lift was a plus, but we won't be renting this unit again.

Excellent location, solid condo

Nothing beats taking the elevator downstairs and being at the lift already. This unit slept the 8 of us pretty comfortably with the pullout sofa in use. Bathrooms are a bit dated, but overall fairly clean and everything is functional. Would stay here again.

Cozy condo

Whether you have dogs or not this place is wonderful (if you do have dogs, I can't think of a better place to stay). Very close to the Super Bee lift, which is never busy. Storage closet for skis and boards very helpful. Super comfy couches and blankets provided to snuggle up and gaze out the floor to ceiling windows, which provide a "snow globe" feeling, while sitting next to the fire. Kitchen is very well supplied. We also enjoyed the incredible assortment of glassware ;-) . The only things that we thought could be improved are the beds. They are quite soft, but that is a personal choice and some people love soft beds. We LOVED this place, and will no doubt be back for all of our overnight stays in Copper. Thanks so much for sharing your space, it felt like home for us. I would absolutely recommend this place to a friend, and already have. Property very clean, the refrigerator may need to be replaced or fixed...a lot of our food got water logged.

Nice for my husband, me & 2 adult children. 3 Double beds & 2 bathrooms worked nicely.

Clean & comfy. Super easy access to ski rentals & Super B lift. Unlimited firewood! Covered parking too! Fairly well equipped kitchen. I would have liked a large, stainless soup pot, sharp chef's knife & plastic cutting board because we cooked in every night. (I'm weird like that. ) We would definitely stay here again (packing my knife in checked luggage)

Great Condo!

Tracey's condo was perfect for our long ski weekend getaway. It's very comfortable for a small family or group (not seeking a lot of privacy). The best part is that it's really ski-in/ski-out as well as pet friendly. There are also a couple of good restaurants only a few steps from the building so you really don't need to drive anywhere. The owner is very responsive and a pleasure to work with. We'll definitely look at a return visit, probably in the spring.

Bed mattress is run down and unconfortable. Proximity between two bedrooms give little privacy. Refrigerator was dirty. Apartment was a little dusty and my wife was constantly sneezing. If you're looking for confort this is not idea however the location is great. If was going to ski with buddies I wouldn't mind staying there again. But definetelly not a romantic getaway type bedroom

Great Place, Super Location

My husband, two teenage daughters, and I thoroughly enjoyed staying here. The double-sized bunk beds in one room were great - the kids didn't have to share a bed. The couches and chairs in the family room were super comfortable and plentiful. The wood burning fire place was great but bring some kindling or fire starter logs to get the fire going - the complex provided plenty of good firewood. The condo was quiet and right next to the ski lift. The tv and channel/movie selections were great. We will definitely try to stay here again next year.

Good Location/ Nice Condo

Fun location in East Village near Super Bee Lift (blacks and blues)-had kiddo, so took bus to West each day but shuttle was easy and close by. Tubing right out the back door-super fun at the end of the ski day. Responsive owner and property mgt company-allowed us to check in early on arrival day! Clean condo-one queen (or double) and a bunk bed (double). Nice covered parking. Easy to walk to coffee shop, JJ next door and ski rental/guest services. Overall nice/affordable place to stay for our family of three.

Our names are Sugar and Spice, we were rescued from a puppy mill. Our Mummy knows we love to drag her through the snow. We especially love to drag her down a steep slope at Copper really fast or hang out in the sun and meet new people at JJ's while watching other humans. We also like to walk in the wilderness at Copper. Our Mummy bought us this Condo for Christmas a couple of years ago, but now we live full time on the Lake in Frisco so we are happy to share our condo with you and your puppies (young and old, may be even a cat)

Why they chose this property

Our Mum bought at Snowflake because it is extremely quiet due to its construction, hence when they have parties or fireworks a central village we do not have to hide under the bed. Our Condo is considerable bigger than the recently constructed units, hence there is more room to stretch out or leave our toys out. Every body in the building is friendly to us and our Mum...we have a number other dog friends in the building. Our Condo has floor to ceiling windows, so we get to check everybody out while Mummy and her friends ski... or drink at JJ's... We are not sure which they do most.... Our Mummy is Australian so we are betting on the drinking!!!

What makes this property unique

We love our new Condo because we walk out the door and we are playing in the snow... we do not have far to walk and find mummy and her friends at JJ's or get a Latte in the morning. We think Copper is the world's best kept secret... we plan to steal ... golf ball in the summer or go to Frisco for a swim in Lake Dillion.
