Blue Crab Casa, located on a beautiful waterfront peninsula in San Leon Texas. Wake up in the morning, make a pot of coffee view the sun rise, or bring your fishing pole and fish right from our private pier. This area is also known for its blue crabs and fresh gulf oysters. The upstairs consist of the main house with 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. A open concept full kitchen, dining room and living room. Downstairs is a separate entrance King suite with private bathroom and kitchenette. This charming property also features amenities like a backyard, 250ft private fishing/crabbing peir with boat dowck, washing machine, AC, WiFi, and more.

The house was nice and in a quiet neighborhood. Fishing was great on the pier. We caught black drum, redfish, gafftop, and trout. The location was in a good spot between Kemah and Galveston. The yard and outdoor area was nice for our family and two small dogs. The inside was very clean and decorated well. We had a great time!

Fishing getaway

Our Easter weekend getaway was a peaceful joy! This home had what we needed. My two kids even caught their first fish on the private pier! Our overall stay was relaxing! Angela is a great host!

Great house to kick back and relax

It was a great place for a quick weekend getaway to do some fishing. The fish were really biting over the weekend. The host was great. Very quick to respond and very accommodating. They put in lights around the dock and power as well right before our trip which was awesome. Would definitely book again.

We booked The Blue Crab for Memorial Day Wknd for 4 nights, but honestly after night 2, we regretted not booking a longer stay! The house is just as pictured and set up with almost everything you could need for a home away from home! Angela was great with communication throughout our stay for any questions we came up with. The patio area underneath the house was fantastic for crab boils with their Swamp Bucket and hanging out. There were also puzzles, board games, markers, and a TV with a Roku set up. The pier is amazing for fishing all day and night! We went during an off time for fishing and crabbing, but we still caught at least a dozen crabs and tons of croakers! The house is very close to stores, bait shops, a really nice restaurant, and not far at all from tourist attractions like Nasa! The kids didn't want to leave!!!! We will be back 3

Review

No wash clothes. Only 1 hand towel and 2 towels per bathroom. Awful toilet paper and only 3 rolls provided of 1 ply. Water pressure in showers could have been much better. The bottom bedroom does not get cool enough. Ants in the kitchen. No sharp knives to cut vegetables. I asked if there was lightening on the pier to night fish—she said yes but these were solar lights that provided very little illumination. There were other light fixtures on the pier but none worked. Pier itself is dangerous to walk on—-uneven boards, narrow, no railing. Really couldn’t fish due to underwater structures causing hooks to become tangled and had to cut lines. Improper entrance code emailed to me so when we arrived, we couldn’t get into the property. The purpose of this stay was to take my elderly father fishing and we were not able to so quite disappointed.

Hi Jennifer, I'm so sorry our beautiful home didn't fit your expectations. Up until your requirement we have had WONDERFUL reviews from families and guest. Your reservation was for 2 people NOT 4. Three rolls of toilet paper and 4 towels for TWO PEOPLE, were adequate in our experience hosting the last 5 years. You might want to let future home owners/host know that you require a certain toilet paper brand, knives sharpened, water pressure strength, light brightness, clear ocean water in the gulf to see "underwater structures" and what is there from YEARS of natural elements and use, that might impede your fishing. The fishing pier is just that, a pier and was rebuilt after hurricane Beryl last year, not even a year old. Dozens of guest have enjoyed that pier and I'm glad I'm able to share it with them. Good luck on your future journeys. I'll send you the bill for the undocumented additional guest.
