Escape the hustle and bustle and immerse yourself in the tranquility of our mountains. This serene house, lovingly known as the "pink house," has been in our family for over 30 years. It offers the perfect retreat for those looking to disconnect and reconnect with nature, local history, and culture.
With traditional furniture, wooden interiors, and a charming atmosphere, you can spend a few days unplugged from modern technology—enjoying games, reading books, and taking in breathtaking views.
Nestled in the peaceful mountains of Sabana Grande, this home is ideal for those seeking a break from everyday comforts. Here, you'll fall asleep under starry skies and wake up to the soothing sounds of nature.
This family heirloom belongs to Ana and José, my mother and father-in-law. They will be on-site to warmly welcome you, share a tour of the area, and offer local recommendations on things to do and where to eat.
This is a generational home, and much of its original charm remains intact—cozy wooden interiors, antique furniture, and an authentic, lived-in feel. While you won’t find air conditioning, Wi-Fi, or television, we’ve made sure to provide plenty of fans, mountain breezes, books, and games to make your stay relaxing and memorable.

Why they chose this property
This home is nestled in the mountains of Sabana Grande, a peaceful and historic town in Puerto Rico. What we love most about this area is the tranquility it offers—away from the noise and stress of everyday life, yet rich in culture and natural beauty. The neighborhood is surrounded by lush greenery, breathtaking mountain views, and incredible starry skies at night. It’s the perfect place to slow down, enjoy the fresh air, and connect with nature. Plus, being in Sabana Grande means you’re close to local spots full of history, delicious food, and warm hospitality.
What makes this property unique
What makes this property truly unique is its rich history, serene location, and the opportunity to disconnect from modern distractions. Known as the ‘pink house,’ this home has been in our family for over 30 years and still maintains much of its original charm, with wooden interiors, antique furniture, and a cozy, inviting atmosphere. Unlike many places, we embrace a simpler way of living—no air conditioning, Wi-Fi, or TV—so guests can fully immerse themselves in nature, enjoy breathtaking mountain views, and experience true tranquility. Plus, my in-laws, Ana and Jose, are on-site to welcome you, share the home’s history, and offer local insights, making your stay even more personal and memorable.
