We had a very nice stay at the farmhouse, it is an incredibly clean and well cared for property. We were in town for a fishing tournament with our truck/boat and there was plenty of room for parking as well. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat, this is a great place!

The property was newly renovated inside with quality products. We did not use the washer/dryer. Parking was fine. There were enough spaces. There were two nights where there was a group of young people and their dogs who partied through the night. The insulation was not effective so we could hear everything they were doing. We communicated with the host the first night about a broken shower handle which was replaced while we were at dinner.

Unfortunately, we had a very bad experience. Upon arriving, place was DISASTER with clear evidence cleaners had quit in the middle of an incident with a MOUSE. Cereal box with spilled cereal left in the kitchen, shredded toilet paper on a bed, shelves pulled out of a closet, and two mouse traps in that closet with food crumbs. We immediately contacted the host with prompt response. I was unfortunately lied to. We arrived at 9pm, check-in was at 4pm. Host said they informed me earlier in the day that the cleaner had an "emergency" but I did not receive a message until the time that I contacted the host about the problem. Since we arrived so late, they actually had 5 hours extra to get the property ready! Instead waited until we contacted them at 9pm and LIED about sending earlier message. With nowhere else to go locally, we found extra covers and made up the beds. NO CLEAN TOWELS for showers (all the dirty linens from previous renter were piled in bathtub). My kids had a hard time getting to sleep with all the fuss going on and we just had a bad feeling about the place the rest of the weekend. Cleaner did come the next day, but we were only given exactly 4 old towels (one very stained). Coffee maker broken/shoddy glue repair. We knew the place wasn't fancy, but the lack of care put into the comfort of guests is unacceptable. Host only refunded clean fee not even covering 1 night stay. Lots of neighbors shooting guns, large loose dog.

It was okay not good for handicapped. Steps no matter which access if though was first floor apartment. When looked at site looked like could walk right in apartment did not realize steps. Had a lot of issues with key access. Need cover around keypad due to sun could not see numbers. I as a cute place. But need to let people not good for elders
