The Glengarry House is more than a place to stay. It’s a boutique experience crafted with comfort, calm, and character. We look forward to welcoming you to Cary.

For guest safety, The Glengarry House has two exterior security cameras. One is located next to the front door, and the other is mounted above the garage. Both record video only and are used for security purposes. There are no cameras or recording devices inside the home.

The Glengarry House is nestled among Cary’s beautiful green spaces, which means guests may occasionally see native wildlife such as deer, rabbits, and sometimes harmless snakes outdoors. Copperheads are part of North Carolina’s natural ecosystem and are most active from late summer through early fall, especially around dusk.

We keep the yard well-maintained and trimmed to minimize wildlife activity, but please wear shoes when walking through garden or mulched areas, use the porch light at night, supervise children and pets outdoors, and avoid reaching into shrubs, woodpiles, or tall grass.

If you ever notice anything concerning, please let us know immediately so we can respond quickly. Nature is part of the charm here, and we take every precaution to keep your stay both safe and peaceful.

The home was very clean. I loved the kitchen and dining room. Utensils, dishes, and cookware cabinets/drawers were labeled, making it easy to find what we needed. Our family found the beds to be comfortable and we all rested well. We appreciated the snacks and drinks provided by the host. We enjoyed the walking path. Grocery stores and restaurants were close by. We hope to return again in the future.

This is a beautiful home. Cherie responds very quickly to any questions or concerns. She is so nice! She even put a dresser in the Master bedroom because we were staying in the home for a long stretch and I requested one.The bathrooms are pretty, clean and stocked with soap, shampoo and conditioner. The towels are wonderful! The kitchen is well stocked and very pretty and clean. We enjoyed the large dining room table and chairs for family gatherings. The TV room is great and the desk came in so handy for my husband to do his work.I walked a lot in the neighborhood and I felt very safe. This home is convenient to everything!We will definitely stay here again!

We had a great stay at the Glengarry house. Cherie was a pleasure to work with during the whole process. We were in town for a wedding and found the property to be perfect for our needs. We stayed at this property while our home was being packed by movers ahead of a relocation out of state. This served as a perfect place to have some normalcy for the week and was located very conveniently to groceries, etc. Loved the decor, personal touches, and cleanliness as well. Top notch.

This is one of the cleanest VRBO rentals I have ever stayed in. While it is not mid-city the drive from downtown to the house is absolutely worth it. There is ample parking in the driveway for two vehicles. There was clear communication from the owner re: directions to the house and how to enter. There are two separate family gathering spaces. The kitchen is large, CLEAN, and well stocked. Thanks for labeling drawers and cabinets. It made it so easy to locate items. Watch out for the step down into the main family room. Ask me how I know. The bedrooms are clean, with ample closet space and lots of hangers. There were plenty of extra linens available. Beds were comfortable with enough pillows to decide which one I liked best. Fans in every room. The master had a large walk-in shower with a good supply of bath products. I would definitely return to this rental. Thank you for providing such a great space to gather. d

This house was a wonderful place. Shery was very good communicating.We loved the detail of everything that was covered. The coffee station and the accessories were wonderful! Thank you so much for the little snacks which we used and appreciated so much. We are only there for tonight so it was a quick stay.Our beds were comfortable. The bathrooms were great. All the extra areas were good although we couldn’t utilize them because we were not there that much. Loved sitting on the front porch together and having coffee! Checking out was so simple!

Glengarry House was the perfect place to celebrate one of our friend's retirement! The home and yard were welcoming and serene. The entire home is fresh and clean, and beautifully decorated giving a modern, mid-century vibe. The kitchen was well equipped and special touches such as drinks in the refrigerator, snacks in a basket and a very well equipped coffee/expresso bar were enjoyed by all. It is centrally located for the places we wished to visit. We especially enjoyed taking an evening stroll on the walking trails accessible beside the property. The host responded quickly to our inquiries and requests.We ALL enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend the Glengarry House.

We cannot say enough good things about this home! From booking and a quick response regarding the wifi to our entire stay it was nothing but a pleasure! The home is VERY clean and neat!!! It is very close to a lot of restaurants and stores. We stayed as we have elderly parents living at a senior living center nearby. It was so handy to have such a close drive after work. I work from home and as the owner states the wifi is super-fast. I had zero issues with zoom and working the entire week! The kitchen is very, very well appointed. We cooked several meals there. Again, as far as clean this is by far the cleanest home, we have ever stayed in. Everything is top notch; the bed we slept in was amazing (there were two other beds we did not use but I have a feeling those are great too). The towels are fluffy and soft; the snacks and water were such a nice touch when we got there. The coffee bar is impressive!!!! We will definitely be staying again!!!

This house was by far one of the nicest VRBO’s I’ve stayed in and I have stayed in quite a few! The house is beautifully decorated throughout with thoughtful touches in each room. The kitchen has everything to prepare a meal and the coffee bar was awesome. We were able to make fresh ground coffee for our morning brew. The fridge was stocked with waters and flavored fizzy water which was so wonderful! The owner also had a basket of oatmeal and assorted teas to choose from- additionally she provided a basket of snacks. The house included two sitting rooms- one that looked out into the backyard of beautiful trees and the other room included a comfy leather couch with tv and writing desk which we used to work from.Both bathrooms were very clean and had plenty of towels, washcloths, soap, shampoo & conditioner as well as body wash. The bed was extremely comfortable with quality sheets and pillows. There were extra blankets in the closet if you needed one.Another great feature was the access to the walking trail right next to the house- which we used and had a lovely walk. There is a beautiful park for children to play in within walking distance.I highly recommend this VRBO- we will be staying here the next time we visit!
