Nature embraced Villa Stina w/pool and big outdoor area for art and music lovers

Villa Stina is located in the pearl of Makarska riviera in a small town, Krvavica.
The house is in a pine wood and surrounded with olive trees with total privacy. We offer a beautiful view of the mountain Biokovo from our swimming pool.
Villa Stina is located 1km from the beach and 500 meters from the town center. It takes 5 - 10 minutes by walk, or you can drive and park near the beach. You can explore the nature and wild beaches.

The accommodation in Villa Stina is for 8 persons in two separate apartments, one is for 2 people and the other can accommodate 6 people. The bigger apartment is on the first floor, there is one master bedroom furnished with wall to wall closet, king size bed, piano and a balcony looking over the pool and at the mountain Biokovo, there is a second bedroom with queen size bed with vanity, mirror an view of the pine wood, third bedroom is also looking at the pine wood and has 2 single beds. There is a bathroom with shower, kitchen with dining area and a big living room with large couch, flat TV and a work place. In the smaller apartment there is a master bedroom with king size bed and a living room incorporated with a small kitchen and dining area plus bathroom with shower. Everything is covered with wifi signal, even the pool area. There is air conditioning in every apartment.

Owners live on property, on the ground floor with their separate entrance so you have total privacy. But if you need anything, advice, some company,.. just ring the door bell and Bojan or Tina will answer. Apartments are furnished in Mediterranean style, rich in natural light, colour, designer ideas and pieces of furniture plus contemporary paintings of nature details made by owner. Tina allso offers art classes at her painting studio in the back of the house. Where you can find souvenirs and her nature inspired, hand crafted jewelry.

We have a beautiful garden and yard with sitting and dining area plus summer kitchen. You can enjoy the swimming pool, sun bathing or drink mint tea from our garden.

Villa Stina is located in Krvavica, a little place of 300 residents between Baska Voda (6 km) and Makarska (3km), on the Makarska riviera in Dalmatia in Croatia in Europe. In addition to the white gravel beach a place is adorned with specific natural attraction “Babin zub” (“Grandmothers tooth”) a high rock on mountain Biokovo which decorates the view above Krvavica. We can recommend our favorite restaurants (konoba Kalelarga in Makarska - daily fresh fish, local food and wine; konoba Feral in Brela - excellent food and deserts), Jazz fest in Makarska, August, hiking in national park Biokovo, Plitvička jezera,... and of course visiting the perfect town of Dubrovnik.

You can travel by car or bus to Villa Stina (we have a parking place for you, the bus station is 150 m from us), or by train or aeroplane to Split and then rent a car.

Lovely house in a beautiful setting!

We had a great family holiday at Villa Stina, the grounds are beautiful and we enjoyed wonderful views from the pool of Biokovo mountain. Tina and Bojan are very friendly hosts, one recommendation for the future would be to provide pool towels for guests, and a proper coffee maker, but these are just small things, overall we loved our stay!

Beautiful setting

Very well presented property with everything we needed for a wonderful relaxing holiday. Best feature was the pleasantly cooled swimming pool as we arrived in Croatia to a ‘mini heat wave’. Good prompt communication from Tina and Bojan throughout, with helpful advice when booking trips, restaurants etc. They also very thoughtfully left a welcoming cooled drinks package in the garden fridge area, greatly appreciated after our journey. The only negative I can mention is the air conditioning unit in the annex was rather loud which made sleeping in there a little difficult for my son. Wonderful views of the Biokovo mountains from the patio area which were quite magical when lit up at night. Short walk to a small local shop for basics was also great. Shop owner lives next door and is fantastically helpful opening the shop when you arrive and conducting hilarious communication with us through smiles, pointing and much hand gesturing!!! We had a great stay at this property and highly recommend in to anyone wanting to visit this area of Croatia. Thanks very much to you both.

Minutes from the beach (car)

Comfortable, super clean, very welcoming owners. Plenty of space for 7 of us, pool had lots of use in 38 degree heat. Although you can walk to beach it is very steep, with steps. We drove and enjoyed many hours in the beautiful clean blue water. Good bars and restaurants on beach too. Be aware that the house pool has only 3 steps on its ladder so you do have to be fairly agile to exit the water.

Lovely villa with breathtaking mountain view

Villa Stina is a modern, well-equipped villa with amazing views of Biokovo Mountain. Tina and Bojan are perfect hosts - extremely friendly and very helpful. The villa is in the perfect location to explore the Makarska Riviera, which is naturally busy during July/August. It is a peaceful and private place to relax, with a great pool to cool off in or read a book in the hammock! The local pebble beach is a relatively short walk down the hill but don’t forget your sea shoes if going for a swim in the crystal clear waters! It is possible to take a longer walk from here along a scenic coastal path to Makarska itself, with several small bays along the way.

Fabulous stay in a beautiful villa

There are not enough words to describe how fabulous this place is. We all had an absolutely fantastic week here. The house is stunning: it is light and spacious and is well equipped with everything you need to make you feel you at home. We loved the smart, immaculate interior with Tina’s beautiful artwork on the walls. The outside grounds are really lovely, the pool was fantastic (and spotless) and it is contained in a very private setting with a fantastic view of the mountain. There are lots of olive trees, a vegetable garden and figs on the trees. We came to Croatia in August and almost booked a hotel in Brela for this part of our trip but then suddenly saw Villa Stina and I am so glad it changed our minds. The coastline is lovely but very busy in the summer months. It was lovely to have our retreat to relax in and to visit places around when we chose to. Whilst many of the better known beaches get full at this time of year, the local beach, which was within easy walking distance down a hill (using the short cuts in between the house rather than the road) was lovely to swim in and never too busy. The kids could have jumped off the jetty there all day and all night! There is also a really nice walk along the coast to get to Makarska. We gave up trying to drive and enjoyed walking there without the bother of traffic and trying to find a car parking space far more. There were lots of little coves on the way too. The villa is well positioned to visit so many places around this part of Croatia. Tina and Bojan are perfect hosts and have put a lot of love into Villa Stina to turn in not just into a holiday villa but a lovely relaxing home which we sincerely hope we will have an opportunity to return to. If you are planning to visit this area I cannot recommend Villa Stina enough. It simply is a gem find.

Thanks Tina and Bojan for a fantastic vacation in Croatia! The house is very comfortable with enough space for a family of five. The pool area and the pool is very nice, gives you full privacy and an astounding mountain view. Krvavica is also a good place to be if you don't want the more crowded beaches like in Makarska or Baska Voda. You have a 5min walk from the house down to good beaches, go south and you can find your own little bay. Tina and Bojan are good hosts and will answer an almost any question, they are from the area and can guide you to the best restaurants and places to see. We can warmly recommend this house for your next trip to Croatia. Regards Magnus and Maria with children

Family of four, the Divic's Bojan, Tina, Luna and Roko with small dog (Vigo) welcome you in their beautiful home. They live in Villa Stina all year round surrounded by nature, enjoying the fresh air, beautiful pine forest and breathtaking mountain view from big outside area with yard and pool. Bojan is a musician with small music studio in the house. Mabye you can presuade him to play some of his music. Tina is an artist and art educator with small art studio behind the house. She made all the paintings that decorate the house. If you are interested you can attend her painting classes for tourists and do a little shopping for fun, artsy, handmade souvenirs and unique handcrafted jewelry that se makes in her shop in Makarska.

Why they chose this property

Villa Stina was built by Bojan's grandparents in the 70's but it was renovated it in 2016. It was always the plan that this will be a holiday house. The house has an enterance on the side of the house and it is totaly privat and away from the naighbours. The breathtaking view of Biokovo mountain is something else. The house is located in a small town of Krvavica with some 200 residents but has beautiful white pebble beaches with clear blue sea and natural pine shade.

What makes this property unique

The position of the house, yard and the swimming pool gives total privacy. Nature and beautiful view of mountain Biokovo make unforgettable memories. You can see this breath taking view from almost every room in the villa and if you can't you can see the olive grow and pine forrest that surrounds us.
