Our stay went pretty well! Host was responsive and super easy to communicate with. Our unit was clean and enough space to accommodate everyone :) Only flags to mention: trash can has a lid that was broken and the bathroom door would not stay shut/lock, otherwise our Stay was super smooth!
Newly renovated, clean, comfortable place to explore Boston. The host was responsive and very proactive. Parking in the back for our rental. Plenty of space and room for us to spread out. Security lights around the property and limited pedestrian traffic on the street. We felt very safe and overall very pleased with the place.

The apartment is new and sparkling clean. The host is very responsive and helpful. The neighbourhood is not too nice to walk around. It is about 30 minutes away from Boston downtown with all the traffic, but a good solution for a large family.

This is not a good place to stay if you are visiting Boston as a tourist: the traffic is terrible 24-7, making a 6-7 mile trip take over a half hour during non-rush hour. Also, many of the surrounding, narrow city streets have long series of speed-bumps -- making transit slow and bumpy (no place for low-slung cars).Though parking is in the rear, and there is a door to the apartment right there, we had to walk to the front to use the key-pad entry system; owner (David) told us he had no key to the rear entry door.We were surprised and unhappy that the third bedroom was locked off, as VRBO advertises that renters get the entire property.The interior seems newly and nicely renovated. But there was a lot lacking: -inadequate furniture (e.g., no dressers nor shelves in bedrooms); -no shelves in the bathrooms for toiletries and such; -inadequate silverware (e.g., no teaspoons); -no ice trays nor ice-maker;-no room darkening shades for sleeping.-slippery bathtub (dangerous).We were planning to stay three nights, but were unhappy enough that we decided to leave after just two days.

Thank you for your feedback, Anthony. We’re glad to hear you appreciated the newly renovated interior of the home.
We would also like to clarify a few points for future guests. Traffic conditions and city road layouts in the Boston area are unfortunately outside of our control. Our property is located in a convenient area with easy access to many destinations around Boston, which can also mean heavier traffic at certain times, especially on weekends.
Regarding the rear door, this entrance is primarily intended as an emergency exit. Guests normally access the property through the main/front entrance with the keypad system, which is the standard check-in process for the home.
As for the locked bedroom, this was not intentional. The room uses a digital lock, and occasionally our cleaning team may accidentally leave it locked after preparing the property, especially if previous reservations did not require use of all rooms. Whenever guests notify us, we immediately provide the access code so the room can be used right away.
We also appreciate the suggestions regarding additional household items and storage. We are continuously working to improve the guest experience and will review these recommendations carefully. We would also like to note that the home does include window curtains/shades for guest comfort and privacy during rest.

The apartment was very bright, clean, updated, and roomy with a huge couch that sat all 6 of us comfortably. We especially loved the water pressure adjuster in the shower. Property was exactly as described. Only 2 1/2 blocks from the train and a 10-15 min walk to subway. Bodega and a CVS that were each a block away came in handy. The neighborhood appears to be in the early stages of being fixed up and some places seemed old and rundown, however we didn’t have any problems and the people in the neighborhood were all very friendly.
The place was clean but the 3rd bedroom was locked. We didn't need it but found that odd. The noise from the upstairs neighbors was more than what we had thought it was going to be. The people who checked in Saturday night were up and down the outside stairs until 2am so the people sleeping in the back bedroom did not sleep well. The hostess was very good at communicating in a timely manner.
