Inside the storage room, you'll find plenty of chairs, sunbathing lounges, and foldable chairs for your convenience.

On the smaller deck dedicated to cooking, a propane grill awaits, perfect for preparing the day's catch or enjoying a barbecue feast amidst the picturesque surroundings.

Inside the cozy 500 sq ft cottage, you'll find a comfortable living area equipped with a 32-inch flat-screen HDTV. The Queen Murphy pull-down bed offers flexibility, allowing you to maximize floor space during the day and enjoy a restful night's sleep. Additional sleeping space is provided by the Queen pull-out sofa, perfect for accommodating kids or a second couple.
While the kitchen may be small, it is fully equipped with essentials including a hotplate, fridge, microwave, sink, and coffee pots-both standard and Keurig. With no stove/oven or dishwasher, you'll be inspired to cook most of your meals on the grill and savor the outdoor dining experience.

The bathroom features a full-size shower, ensuring comfort and convenience during your stay.

Just a short walk downstairs leads you to the dock, where you can tie up two boats. The covered slip accommodates a 7ft wide boat and 22ft long, while cleats have been mounted to hold boats up to 40 ft. From here, you're less than 2 minutes by boat to Bridgewater Plaza, offering entertainment for both kids and adults alike.

Beautiful views and great location. Dock home was open when we arrived - unlocked. No blankets as stated but the management company brought us a set. We had to wipe down surfaces, sweep up, and cover the couch due to dirt, stains, and pet hair. There is well water at this location.

Super cute studio! Only bad part is it smelt like cigarette smoke when we got there. Most linens are provided, but on the listing it says they aren’t. Not much sunlight hits the deck which is a bummer, but if you have a boat or jetski the whole time it’s nice. I will be back!

The host was great but we ran into several problems. We arrived at night and found the stairway lighting was not working so we had to use flashlights to get down a very steep set of stairs in pitch black to get to the house. When we tried to use water in the sink, it smelled of rotten eggs. The coffee maker had very old grinds that were totally molded so we had to sanitize the machine. That said, the bed was comfortable and the cabin was clean. I think in the height of the season, the experience may have been different. Clearly the cabin was empty for a little while which caused the issues. We alerted the host so hopefully it doesn't happen again.

This was a very nice getaway for my husband and I. It’s right above the water, good fishing. And you can tie off your float to the dock and enjoy the water and sun. We would stay here again. The driveway is STEEP! And you’ll want to bring towels, paper products, including toilet paper, trash bags and sheets. We got it all at the local food lion and left it after our stay for the next guest. It’s close to a lot of restaurants and shops, plus some really nice wineries!

My husband and our dogs spent the week here and it was everything we needed. Just be warned that the house is located at the bottom of a steep hill. The only grass available is at the top of the hill. I would recommend putting your boat in prior to arriving to the home, as backing it down was difficult. We were a short boat ride away from the rest of our family, and Bridgewater Plaza. We absolutely adored boating and swimming in the lake. The location of the house was quiet, and private. Would recommend this cabin to small, low maintenance families or couples. We will absolutely be returning!

Quiet and relaxing

Overall, the stay was fine for the price point. Great area, close to the marina, safe, overall in a great location. The kitchen could use some organizing, more coffee cups, and a potato peeler! Having a small stove would be convenient.

This cabin over the water is the perfect spot for avid fishermen, small families, or a romantic getaway. The house sits literally on top of the dock! There is a large deck great for sunning, dining, or just taking in the amazing view. There is a picnic table on the deck as well as lots of chairs, sunbathing lounges, and fold-able chairs inside the storage room inside. Just a short walk downstairs and you are on the dock where you can tie up 2 boats, slip will hold a 7ft wide boat and 22ft long under the covered area and one to the open part of the dock. Cleats have been mounted here for you to tie up, will hold up to a 40 ft boat. You are less than 2 minutes by boat to Bridgewater Plaza where you will find entertainment for kids and adults alike.
